For beginners .... Don't bother to check if your plant is done with scope if you have hairs on top cola that are still growing and pointing up....
If you check for Tric's before then, although it is fun... you are checking too early....
Plant [No matter the color of Tric's] will not be "Done" until, top cola bud hairs have receded...
If hairs are not receded... Too early to even check trich's... Get it?
Wait longer, you will be rewarded....
Now, if you see Amber [degraded Tric's] you have damaged your plant [somewhere along the line]...
If you see amber, and top cola still has hairs growing up and out... plant is still not done...
Amber Trichomes are degraded...And like shit, they happen.... you don't want them...

Update: the buds are huge and heavy. The plants are getting dry and look kind of sick. The trichs are milky, but so far I don't see any yellowish/honey color.
They went under 12/12 regime on 23 December and today is 23 April and still nothing. I am trying to push them by not giving them water for last 2 days and less then 12/12 light. More like 10/14 thinking that this would speed the harvest.
What should I do guys? Water them full again and wait for another week or so?

WOW what a difference few weeks make huh? Them buds are done in my opinion. It's totally up to you though, If you do keep them going longer and if they were mine I'd cut out that bud rot near the top in the third pic. That shit spreads like wild fire. Good job on your harvest and for having patience.

WTF? I am already drying my last yield for last 3 weeks and still not completely dry (when I snap the branch it doesn't crack). Fairly dark, in the attic, some circulation, fairly cool temp. I have no problem to wait longer but I am just concern about the color - some have sick dry, rusty leaves on some and just wonder if that is normal.

Ouch...pic A3 from april 23 shows it was rotting then already.
Should have taken them down after greatwhite's post, Waiting for amber equals letting your plants degrade.
Also should have take all those nasty necrotic leaves off.
Circulation and temp don't mean that much if the air is not refreshed and humidity isn't low enough (which is the only logically explanation for them not drying). If there's no feasible way to lower humidity of the environment, the only option that remains is trimming it clean and down to nugget size and dry like this:
There will probably be a lot more rot on the inside than visible on the outside so I suggest triming them asap and try to save as mich as possible. Clean the scissor and cut of bad parts with a safe margin.
