if you want them to grow more fast. then turn on a metal halide . will grow an inch a day . don't push nutrients any harder then the bottle suggests. in veg they don't usually need as much as in flower. they are health . its just a lighting factor . cfl or led .bulbs don't grow plants very fast compared to mh. . so my advice be easy on nutrients. nutrients don't make plant grow ore fast. actually using plain water and light nutrients as long as the plant looks health makes them grow best . and get the temps up to about 85f and under mh and they will grow at peak speed .

For clones, just cut and dip in clonex or any other rooting hormone. Put in a dome and keep well moist. Dozen guides to this online.

As an add, always take extra clones. Some die. Some turn out bad and some good. I always take 12 when I only grow 4 at a time to flowers

If you read the post from the start I have stated that I have a 400w mh and 800 real watts cfl's to use on both veg and flower, the lighting may not be the best for flowering but I think it's really over killing for 9 plants on veg stage

Depends on the size of your grow space. I'm using 250W for a 60x60cm closet, and its pretty much perfect. And if your grow space is bigger, that's 1000W for 1,2x1,2m. You do the math and figure out if your light is within these numbers ;)

And just to add in. MH is great for vegging, but a SON (HPS) lamp is definitely what you want for flowering. Im on my 4th grow now, and my 3rd was flowered under MH light, while 1st, 2nd and 4th was flowered under a SON-T Plus. I swear, the buds are close to twise the size with the HPS lamp, so far as I'm concerned I will never flower with MH lamp again ;)

Other than that, I did already mention moist has quite a bit to say for veg state. Try pushing it up as high as 80% for the first 3 weeks.

And lets not forget the soil. If you wanna do it easy, find some soil meant for tomatoes with leca/clay balls already in it and just use that. If you wanna take it a little further, buy tomato soil without clay balls and mix with 30% perlite. You don't need anything else to make it as long as you water "correct" and feed them moderately while paying attention to the moist/airflow and care for your plants every day.

Thanks sacro, I also figured out that the soil wasn't affecting that much the growth rate , It was majorly caused by some blackouts and irregular light cycle that has started flowering the plants as today I saw some pistills and from what I know it takes long presex them and reveg or am I wrong? I will post some pics to be sure that they are females.

Nice, today they had 6 nodes they are short but have 6 nodes, I saw pics on this forum with the same age plants about the double size as mine and still with 6-7 nodes

they are 9 plants in total,7 are different and 2 are Humboldt og kush, yea in the first pic they had a thin (about 2 cm) layer of that shitty sandy soil ,however i repotted them and i think they love the new soil, also i think i have pre-sexed them and it cold be another reason of their slow growth

i re-potted them yesterday so it isn't the cause, yes i think they have grown that slow because by mistake on lighting cycle and some blackouts i have pre-flowered or pre-sexed (whatever its called) later i'll post some pics of the calyxes as i think some may be hermies.
