That would have been funny if it made any sense at all.Too bad you can't afford to run a 400w lamp.
Running a 400W lamp vs buying a 400W lamp, not the same thing.
Obviously I have no issue paying for electricity because it runs my entire house, vs the cost of a $50-60 bulb every 6 months that has no everyday use in my household besides growing plants.
That kind of is a contradiction, the entire point of getting the free bulbs is to be even more efficient.
I would be the most efficient grower as I don't pay for $50-60 bulbs every 6 months, I don't pay for my equipment (Besides Jack's classic)
Also, I do this all as a personal thing. I don't grow to sell, I don't grow to "donate" it's all smoked and given away to friends and family.
Companies that are large and known will do much much more than that, it's all about social engineering.
There is no excitement in this, the point is to get something that would otherwise be the most expensive item to replace in your grow area, to being free.
Bulbs cheap? Sure the cheap ones, I can get cheap bulbs for $5-10. Why go cheap when you can go premium for free?
Eh I'm not poor, I'm not rich, I'm comfortable, even more so now that I get free bulbs for life.

The premium bulbs as you call them are still cheap
as i pointed out before, free ice cream would of been a better offer

Did you read it in context? Or just post a definition to the word "donate" and not to the word "contradiction"
He called me an inefficient grower because I can't purchase the expensive bulbs, it's exactly the opposite.
I don't pay for my bulbs which makes me more efficient. I save $60 for every $60 he spends, how is that not efficient?
Donate - Do you even know where that word comes from and what context I'm using it as?
The word comes from people who "donate" their weed to people and dispensaries and they receive money in return. I do NOT "donate"
I.E I don't give away weed to people and expect money in return, nor do I accept money if offered.

The purpose of this thread was to help people who are either financially broken, or just don't want to help these companies that make $2 light make a profit of 99%.
The one guy ruined it because he wanted to let everyone know, the point of giving it out in PM is to limit its availability thus making it last longer and help more people than just help people that want a quick profit reselling the bulbs on Ebay or Craiglist.
I don't replace my bulbs every grow, been using the same Ipower ones for 2 years, but I can tell they are degraded.
On a side note, I can help you get free Dominos Pizza for life, that's better than Ice cream personally.

I am all for writing a company and being truthful saying you wanna try their product-(made a thread didn't get flamed wonder why) and they do send quite often but TRUTH being the key word.
