Mycelia?

Is this mycelia?
This means my soil is good right?
I collected it from the forest and have mixed it with ewc, dolomite, oatmeal.
im going to be adding peat, compost, rock phosphate chunkies, mycorrhiza, glacial rock dust and sand.
I have all of my supplements, alfalfa, kelp, seaweed extract, molasses, ewc, guano -high N and high P, comfrey, dandelion, neem.
What should i do? Take the mycelia out and put it in a little bucket and then mix my soil and stick it back in the pile after im done mixing so i dont break the strands?

Good idea. Remove, then reinsert once your soil mix is prepped and ready.

Thats what i ended up doing! Thanks for the feedback. Fungus is fkn awesome lol

It could prove hard to get rid of that fungus if spores have been spread. My best advice is to put worms in there to eat all that shit up or add loads of mycorrizae to increase competition and hopefully mycorrizae will kill that bastard.
Id also consider taking a huge chunk of soil out where the fungus is present and put it under direct sun light.
Loving the hyphae btw! I reccomend you posting that pic on Halucinatory substances. It will be kinda trippy lol

im a bit confused... why would i get rid of this... fungus is fantastic at breaking down hard matter that bacteria cant.
this soil is from a very healthy forest in my area.
why would i want to get rid of it? it will provide food for my plant.
and mycorrizae only live in the presence of roots.
this is my soil that is cooking so if i add mycos then it will be pointless cause they wont do anything until they come in contact with roots..

and if you read my post then you would see that i have a lot of fungal food in there too so i think the fungus is a good sign.

Mycelium fungi is beneficial. You don't want to get rid of it. It helps break shit down too. Hydro guys don't want it. They require a sterile environment.

I will read it! I have made lacto bacilli with rice wash and milk and i also have a bunch of fermentations going on, comfrey, dandilion, deadnettle, a bloom fert that has red bell peppers, spinach and other leafy greens, banana, cucumber. I found a great website http://gilcarandang.com that tells you how to do all that cool stuff. Im going to go collect forest micros with cooked rice and forest litter once it warms up here a bit. I wish i had more room or a lab to do my work in

keep in mind they grow huge and roots grow very deep. up to 6 feet deep when in the ground. So make sure to have a very large pot

Im just starting them in a pot and then im going to find a nice place in the park across from me and plant it there haha, my back yard is too hard and gets too much sun and floods so i think its a bad place for it
