Hey, I got a problem with this plant. Got it under florecent lights, water it bout every 3 or 4 days, fertilize it every 4 or so days with watered down solution, checked the run off ph and it appeared to be around 7 or 8, (difficult to tell with the liquid tester) and the plant is about 30 days old. After all that The leaves are turning crispy and brown/gray from the inside, its looking quite pitiful. What the dillio can be wrong with this mofo? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Posted some pics of the crackhead hoe. oh yeah, and I've flushed the soil about 10 times.

Jesus your run off is HOT.
Any pics? They would REALLY help. (I didn't see you link them anywhere).

What type of fluros?
What type of soil?
What type of nutes? Light cycle?
Pot size?
Where are your lights in comparison to the plant?

Trying to load these pictures, keep on getting an error message. I need troubleshooting for everything lol. They're the T5 lights 100w total 4 bulbs, got the plants bout 2 inches from the bulbs. The soil is a miracle gro combo which came with those extended fertilizer added, don't care for that soil but thats all the store had. Standard miracle gro ferts, 24 hour light cycle, and I believe a three gallon pot. Im gunna get a picture up here, pictures are worth many many words :)

At first I thought too much nutes, but now I'm thinking that's an awful lot of watering and flushing. What is the PH going into the pot?

I have 2 plants of the same strain indica aurora under the same conditions and they're beautiful, maybe this was just the ugly sister. the T5s are 2ft not quite sure what bulbs they are. It does kinda seem like nute burn but I fertilized the other 2 beautys the same

One thing I thought it might be was I had an ant problem where they were all up in my soil, though I heard that ants stabilize soil to a neutral 7 ph. I lured the bastards out with boric acid and killed them. I'm thinking that they died in the soil with the boric acid inside them making the soil toxic.

so, the miracle grow is absolute crap. I understand it's all you had access to but just so you know; it's not good. Im assuming you have 4 24w bulbs, I have a similar fixture. It's not light burn for sure, probably just the soil. They will probably be ok and survive but it wont be a grow to write home about. Also, with only 100w you wont get dense colas; just so youre prepared.
Happy growing!

Thanks for the knowledge, I'm using the T5 for veg only, got myself the whole 600w gig for the flowering. I did one grow with the T5 the whole way and the buds were quite pitiful indeed, the smoke was amazing though. It does appear the soil is the culprit, I knew the MG brand was gunna cause me trouble. Now I'm just wondering if I should throw some dolomite lime in there to stabilize it, or flush the hell out of it, or just leave her be?

Try transplanting into a better soil.
If that isn't an option. Transplant into some MG soil that you haven't dumped nutes into constantly. Nutrients are a once and awhile thing, not every other watering...
I'd give up on the soil you're using and just try using some fresh stuff.
Also, no access to the pics, cause i'm not signing up on another site just so I can see a picture.

It's important to pH your water going in, because you have it too high in my opinion. Bring it down to 5.9-6.4 for a happier plant.
And you absolutely need to pH your water AFTER adding the nutrients to it. But if you're in MG, you shouldn't need much for awhile. It has nutrients in it, as you stated. And while the soil isn't ideal for growing cannabis in, it does have the same added fertilizers in it as other, better soils.

So you had ants in your soil that were thought to balance the pH, and then killed the ants with boric acid directly in the soil?

Haha no man, the ants took over the soil of my plant against my will and I killed the buggers, I was just researching ants effects on ph of soil later to see if their presence actually effects the ph of soil that much. Turns out they make it quite neutral though they're still assholes.

I dig what you're saying about the soil, what is the best soil to purchase? I kind of always like basic potting soil with nothing added as to allow me to fertilize when I wanna. Is there a specific soil type that is especially good for the health of the plant?

Dont get a pre-mixed soil if you're going to be adding chems to it. Bio bizz is organic and they have a BOTTLED organic line for their soil. If i was you then i would go buy their line and use their soil. Chemicals will kill the micro beasties in the soil and they wont convert the organic nutes into plant food and the "pre-mixed" amendments will be useless.
Its either chem or organics, no inbetween.
I just did my first organic run and i have over 3 oz's out of a 5 gallon fabric pot.
Absolutely zero ph'ing involved.
The buds are so fking dank and sticky and thick!
They smell like fresh cut lemons and limes.
Take my advice and switch!
You wont be disappointed :)
