Dynagro help

I'm new to growing in general and I'm about to by nutes for my home made DWC buckets. I have chosen to go with dynagro have heard its good and fairly simple. My question is can I get by with just the Grow, Bloom, and Pro-Tek? I'm on a tight budget and don't really wanna buy a bunch of additives if I don't need to. Any help would be awesome.

I am new to using dyna gro,but from what I have read you maybe be able to get by using either the grow or bloom as a base.but u have to use both the protekt and magpro with the base you choose. I bought a quart of grow and gallons of the protekt, bloom, and magpro. I figure that should last 3 or 4 grows. Maybe someone with more knowledge can help ya out.

Google "the Lucas formula"...you can get by with a lot less. I'm currently running DG foliage pro, DG Pro-Tekt, and Botanicare Aquashield. If you are using tap water you probably won't need mag-pro.

Lucas formula is for GH Flora three part. Is it also being used with dynagro?

Not that I'm aware of. But I only started using dynagro like 3 years ago. I do know that you need to supplement the bloom with some grow in flower to avoid some deficiencies on hungry strains. There are a couple really good Dynagro threads on here...I hear a lot of people use foliage pro for the entire grow. Not me though.

Have u done the Lucas formula if so how well does it work? That's a lot cheaper especially if u go with the dried nutes maxi bloom.

I was just throwing it out there to show the OP that you can get by using a lot less than what most people think is the minimum...I haven't seen anyone run DG in a Lucas style setup but it may be possible.

OIC. To backup your point, usage of anything more than base nutrients and perhaps calmag is not required to grow with the pros.
