she's the one who supports internment camps, not me.

besides, internment was for the japanese, not filipinos like malkin. if you're gonna level a racism accusation, at least get the nationality right.

All us white folk probably look the same to some random Chinese person from China.

Apathy isn't racism.

If you see Chinese people all day, you won't gain facial recognition memory of a white person you rarely see, except on movies. Most of use will therefore all start looking like Tom Cruise or John Travolta.

What's funny, is most asians from the orient actually self identify as oriental, who I've met. It's only PC liberal do-gooder geeks like Buck who get offended.

I studied Japanese as a hobby lightly for about six years. So I've run into quite a bit of these Jackie Chan looking orientals you speak of. There's a big difference between them all. Korean, Chinese and Japanese eyes are VERY different. But unless you study them closely or been around different cultures, they all look slanted.

Never met an Asian that identified as "oriental". I have met wore than a few Asians who identified as "Asian" though.
