Nute burn or deficiency?

thanks for the thread. very enlightening! the biobloom nute, I am using, has an NPK value of 2-6-3,5. I was also using some biogrow, which is basically a source of N but it wasn't probably enough. I will experiment and use less biobloom and more of biogrow to see how my plants would feel.
Really appreciate your help. cheers!!!

This guy is crazy listen to him if you want to... Im not trying to be rude.
how am i crazy

if u look at any major growers feeding plant it even tells u to flush the soil out at stages to remove the build up and by products left in the soil

in nature the soil would be wash out in the rain the build up would be removed from the root zone ...............i had the same trouble myself on my ultra lemon haze .......the answer was to flush the soil then let it dry up and hit it with with feed afterwards..................i pullled out 5 oz from that plant

so explain to me .............please

Thank you guys. You all helped to get understand what I was doing wrong. I will increase the N nuts and decrease the P,K for a while to see how my plants react to that.

and justughyou might be right about flushing. I thought about nature and rain and don't think that flushing is such a great shock to the plant as some people think. do you think I should also flush my shiva skunks? they look healthy (the last 2 pics are from my skunk) in general but have a few yellow leaves (due to N deficiency). or should I just add some N nuts on the next watering?

You dont flush plants for a deficiency. You flush them when nutes have built up and theres too much in the soil. You have been not giving your plants enough N so I would not expect there to be a build up. If you dont over fertilize and get some runoff with your waterings you shouldn't have to flush very often if ever.

Also, not sure Im buying the rain water flushing the plants. the water gets soacked in to the ground or removes the top soil if theres too much. Its not like the rain water is going to flush straight through the root system. The ground simply gets saturated. How often do you ever get any kind of rain where a plant is getting 3x its volume in water poured through? Could be wrong, but doesn't seem like the same effect to me.

My guess would be you are feeding high P and K so called bloom nutes. And 4 weeks into flower the yellowing starts from lack of N. Your plants look N deficient. Cannabis needs more N than any other element from start to finish plain and simple.

edit:feed-water-water-feed-water-water making sure to get at least 10%(I prefer a bit more on regular watering/no nutes) and you should never have to flush a plant. As your growing skills and ability to read your plants gets better you can feed more often in some cases. And I agree with Jatbray, don't listen to Ugh. It will only cause you grief.

thank you guys. You clarified lots of things to me. I have to admit, I was getting a bit disappointed, I was thinking that maybe growing is not for me. it was really hard fro me to tell if it was a deficiency or nuts burn and thats how I literally destroyed my first grow. Fortunately I got 20gr from one plant but my plant was struggling at the end.

I now know what was causing the problem. I will reduce the P,K nutes and add more N. I hope my plants will recover from the stress because I still have about 5 weeks for harvesting.

Anyway, thanks for everything. Really appreciate your help and the sharing of your expertise in growing cannabis!!!!
