Weird formatting on that previous post soz.

Here's the Ledil page for Vero http://www.ledil.com/angela - Stupid naming convention: Angela is the fullsize, Angelina is slightly more compact. Looks like Angelina is in production at least.

These pages show the range at a glance

Not very wide angle though - only up to 64 degrees for the widest V29 reflector; while the V18 parts only go up to 55 degrees. Twist-on mounting looks pretty easy, but the size of the fucken things is giving me pause.

Yes, I was thinking about these, they just came out and still a bit tricky to get, only UK suppliers had stock when I checked last, I might be thinking much much bigger now...

Are there any other comparable optics that could potentially have a better/wider angle and just needs a little modding?
Sort of, I am thinking like building the reflector around the hole top rack shelf, about 12 inches deep, polished aluminum or even gold plated would work nicely.

^ I do believe there is a chance to mod the reflectors from the Bridgelux Rs series of chips and they have a more choices in angle and material too. Angela makes reflectors for them. Octopart will hunt them out.

I have the weed in mason jars curing with some orange peals. After the 7 days the weed was super dry, so this might add a little moisture back in.

Final dry weight will be in soon...

Got the rack reset and transplanted the clone, lets call her Blackly 2.0 ...

Looks like it came out to a lot! They look like pretty big jars--well done!

Thank you for the updates, I have been following your thread as I am in the process of building a vero based light myself.

I believe your plant from your last grow under the warmer led did not quite reach the same height, have you decided to change the temperatures for this round or will it remain the same?

Final yield was just over 7 ounces plus a big jar of nice shake, so out of about 200 watts of LED that's good ;) I'm going to get it tested soon.

It's a strong head high that hits very fast but doesn't really cloud your thoughts. I feel relaxed and focused when I get high off it and can think deeply about things, that's normally what happens when I get high but this seems to be very different then a lot of other stuff. It hits so strong you go straight into a separate line of thought and seem to lose all track of time. Anyone that try's it says it tastes good and different, hits fast...

Here is the clone, still going in the original set up;

It's good to be back, sorry for the absence.

Close to odour free - I love my Mandala Ganesh. Gets barely juicy-fruit in the last fortnight, but otherwise odour only appears during curing. No carbon for me.

It's in a 4l food grade container, just cheap potting mix with a little lime and no nutes so far. Sort of a hempy-style as I water till its got a couple of inches sloshing in the blue 2l drip container and let them drink it up. It's a zero waste system - no drain, no runoff. I very lightly feed 2-3 times at most if the plants lose a little colour - no set schedule, just try to eye the colour of them and dose with appropriate macro fertiliser depending on what they need.

It seems to work OK for me - light feeding plant, good municipal water supply, and apart from the containers its all stuff I already have for the rest of the garden. Laziest grow method ever - I last checked my ph four years ago.

Under fluro I was using 2l containers and intense training and defoliation. Now with LED I've doubled the soil I am letting this batch grow wild with a lot more headroom. Growing under this much light is a big change - not sure how the soil will hold up once they start packing on weight.
