Well your already doing the cheapest method already so I can't give you any advice. I have to ask how is it working for you? do you notice a differance? I was thinking of getting the pre-made buckets that go for around 60.00 and they say they last on average 7 months. But I keep coming to the conclusion that it is not necessary for small grows.

join your local brewers club
the main side effect of brewing own beer /wine/moonshine is a supply of Co2

u want a cheap ..........this is your best vaule brew the beer use the Co2 for the plants when the brew is done u finish the beer and u have it to drink ..........and start the 2nd batch to add more Co2

this is the cheapest method but it has no really control of the amount of Co2 u let out

Wow the troll from left field w useful info. Please don't send me this 5 times have you tried these before?
What , My info wasn't useful before? You sure are a grateful fella. And , I wouldn't recommend them if They didn't work. You could get a expensive monitor that let's you adjust the c02 set point. But this one is the cheapest and has a built in photocell so it turns off the c02 at night. just don't put any superthrive on it

One question Chuck, Is it needed for grows say less than six plants? I know co2 is what plants thrive on but I see the only use for it would be large grows no?

@MoonFuckMan your pic's are upside down and I can't twist my neck like that. Unless those plants are growing out of the wall and roof lol.

NO, will it increase buds and plant growth if done right? YES. If you got the cash, it isn't going to hurt. I would put my money into lighting first, but if you got that, why not add the c02?
