try and get the humidity up to around 50% your plants will love it.

Yeah, my humidity is always at 10% unless I mist as often as above. I can keep it between 30% and 55% that way. Mostly doing the lid, not the plant itself. Very lightly in the soil once a day. I have 2 sprouts. One is doing pretty good, the other not so much. I decided to experiment with the younger one (not so good looking one). Today I added nutes to it, 1/8th reccomended strength of Fox Farms Big Bloom. .75 of a teaspoon for a gallon. Watered lightly. Checked her a few min ago and definitely looks better. Straightened up and opened. Had been a closed cot for 3 days now. No nutes on the other one. Looks good as is. Will start on day 7 ( We are at day 5). Oh and I removed the lid on both.

Hey Mello, just wanted you to know I subbed, man. Grow looks great so far, and I've been dealing with the same shit as you and DC has been helping me too. I have the xgs 190 too and I had it too close and burned my little bitches and also didn't add nutes when I should have. Either way they look a lot better now.

good job so far and thanks for sharing your mistakes and positives with us all, it helps me out a lot.

Thanks Bu$h pic updates soon on the new plant. DC, I do my best to keep in that range of rH and they absolutely do love it. Starting nutes soon for the new baby, hopefully I wont kill her this time since I got the FF nutes now. MG doesn't suck it's just hard to handle.

i would suggest mixing veg with bloom nutes for first feeding. then veg with cal/mag second then veg on 3rd. that will insure you dont get defencies. the plant will use what it wants but you will have the needed in the soil mix. start at 1/4 nutes then 1/2 then stay at 1/2 till they take off. also for cal/mag i suggest black strap molasses (grandma's original) 1 tsp in 1 cup hot water to mix then add to 1 gallon of nute/water mix. do that every other water till they get big then 1 tablespoon per gallon the whole grow. it takes the soil a bit to break it down so start as soon as you can.

yes apply some molasses. mix 1/2 teaspoon with 1/2 cup hot water then add 1 cup cold water to cool it then water them with it.
Just updates.. obviously cal/mag on older leaves. The second plant is still not showing any real growth..

Pic update day 12:

Why do they always yellow out like that on or around day 10? I feel she is a bit small. Just Transplanted from the propagator to a 160z solo cup. No nutrients yet, should I start with the next watering (watered today after transplant)?

they only have enough food for 7 days max i always feed at day 5-7. give them 1/4 veg 1/4 bloom and 1/8 cal +mag asap.
edit: after you first water with 1/2 cup water then apply water/feed mix till you get 1 cup run off. teh water first will keep it from nute burning the little lady.

Well, I watered early this morning. Not much, no runoff through the cup. Should I still feed again now? How soon do you notice a change after you feed? Sorry for the bombardment of questions, I just want to get it right. I have researched all over the place but it isn't the same the find the knowledge than it is to apply it.

then mix up some feed and andd feed them till you get 1 cup runoff. they will love you for it. use the dose i suggested for next 10 days then drop the bloom and double the veg nutes for a week then double the veg nutes again. the cal mag use every other feeding.

I don't have cal mag, can't get any either, at least any time soon that is. Can I do without? I have the Fox Farms Trio (Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom). Can I just do them for this grow? I know it will probably cost me some bud or potency or something, but it won't kill it though.... will it?

None at all. I can when I use the Web but not the app. I did get on the Website to see your's.. Definitely looking good!! I'd add a small amount of nutes like dco suggested. The yellowing of the cotos is a sign of depletion of the nutes that every seed has to last them until roots develop and gather more.

okay if you dotn have cal mag you can use epson salt or black strap molasses like grandma's. do you have any of those?

They seem really young for nutrient deficiencies when using soil. My first thought is do you check the PH of your water? It could be you locked out some nutrients with water that is way off on PH. I have not had to feed until I get to the final pot, there is usually enough in the soil to keep them going just from the transplants.

I would check the PH of your water, shoot for around 6.5-6.8 for soil. If you are within that range, you can do an EWC tea with some unsoldered blackstrap molasses and bubble that for awhile. The microbes will keep your soil healthy and promote great uptake from your plant.

Your first set of leaves will usually die pretty easy, pretty normal.

I already fed her nutes...... She looks good so far and that was 14 hrs ago. Ph is at 6.6 mostly. Nuted lightly, very lightly, just be safe. If she shows she needs more then I'll do so accordingly.
