Mohican, sorry to hear you are having problems with the spinner. I really like the spectral carrier instead. It has storage for 4 power supplies and cords right in the hood. Of course you have to find other options for mounting the H150's as it is only designed for 4 H350's.

yeah the 135 doesn't put out allot the kessil beets it hands down. the 180 i got will keep up with the kessil on par rating. and blueberry is what im growing and it turns out dank thinks my unknown is most likely white widow yeah. i love WW almost as much as blueberry. I am getting 600 watt hps next week and the next buy will be a kessil 350. then my closet will be set for lights. im gonna have to add my portable ac unit to the room for sure. i love you all are using kessil and talking how great they are. can you post some bud porn from the kessil blueberry grow?

What blueberry strain are you growing? Mine was Dutch Passion. I am also sitting on a Nirvana Feminised white widow bean from my last order. Gonna wait till I move to my new place before I grow it. I dont have pics of the Blueberry grow. I got paranoid (happens smoking weed) and erased all pics from my pc, buried my extra jars in the backyard, and bleached my grow area.

BC blueberry. the WW i dont knwo i only think its WW dank says it looks like it. got the seeds from a friend and he couldnt remember what they was only he paid allot for them. ill know for sure in 2-3 weeks. I cant wait till harvest hits i have 3 strains back to back so ill have a busy 6 weeks and if i plan it right ill have more following trying to make it perpetual.

I think my description was misleading. Orange growers put copper in their nutes to make oranges taste sweeter. I put copper in with my nutes to help increase the sweetness of my plants.

The spinner seems to work fine when it is spinning left to right. When you cycle the power switch it changes directions.

I am going to go check it now to make sure it is still spinning.

oh okay. i was thinking when i do start a compost pile tossing in a orange banana grapefruit with the trimming of veggies also would be a good thing. this summer ill have a worm farm and a compost pile im gonna make my soil again like i did when i was growing outdoors. i also want to start ordering coconuts. i can use the insides and then crush the shell and let it compost also.

Composting with added citrus and coconut husk sounds like a real benefit to your soil. Growing organic makes for some tasty plants!

Between Mo and Jig, I'm now researching LED lighting more and finding that maybe I CAN afford to make the switch. Just not sure yet which way to go, fixtures like Jig or Kessils, like Mo. I can get a couple H150 lights used and I found a single H350 used in Magenta (I think). I can go new if I go with a fixture similar to Jigfresh

Kessil is becoming more affordable. An H350 magenta is the first investment Id make. That way you get more flowering specific watts. Then you can tailor your rig with H150's. Magenta and Purple H150 can be had new for $100 on growers house!

That's alot of money for 31 watts that only covers 1 square foot. Then again I paid a pretty penny for 40 watt pontoons. That adds an extra sqaure foot in each direction with the inda gro 420.

Hard to compare the two though hyroot, since we get that sick flower initiator lol. Ya most expensive 40 watts around but well worth it if you are growing under an ig. You digging those vert pontoons? Sorry to thread jack mo, should find that fed ex guy and give him a tittie twister or something and tell him to respect peoples packages! When are you flipping to flower by the way?

i would do the kessil over the cfl. the hans i dont know much about. i have not seen a finish grow with hans or smoked any from a hans.

I would go with Cree a21 globes from home depot over cfls or kessils. The Hans panels kick ass too.

@ natro I dig the vert vpar. It does put out nor heat though. I guess because its open on both sides. On hot days lately. I turn it off leaving the pontoon on. a/c cools everything down. The reg 420 combos seem to put out less heat. When I did hid. The higher the light. The less heat was felt. Maybe if I raise the vpar more it would seem cooler.

The H350 is 90 watts for $250 new per light. Early adopters always pay top price.
