can you grow good plants/buds with T5s?

you can use 24x24x60 if you want. I did and use to kick ass with it BUT with a 250 hps. I mostly grow one nice size plant with that tent. now I have 36x24x60 and im gonna do two plants. SAME 250. with one plant I was averaging 4-5 1/2 ozs with 3-4 weeks veg from seed. the tent with the 2 small plants is the 2x3 the other is the 2x2

Yup with no problem.
I put the pics so you can kinda see how the tents look and what you might can get out them. You can use t5s with both and get good sized plants to. The 3x2 you put the link up to looks a lot like mine and you can do two plants easy in that.

ok thank you for your replies and time. I see your picture with the 2 plants. I see your filter. Do you have your inline fan outside the tent? If so how good does that work? what size fan are you using for the cooltube?

Ok see I am growing 2 plants as a hobby. I let friends and family have it. So I am trying to keep cost down if I can. So could I use just 1 6inch fan with a filter? It would be filter-fan-duct-light-duct. If so what size filter as in length?

I'm not saying you can't do it that way I just wouldn't. One fan really won't work that efficient pulling all that heat. I would use two. One pulling stinky air through the filter and one pulling hot air from the light

could I get away with a 6inch booster fan for the light? something like this instead of buy 2 inline fans?

The tent I showed looks like it only has 2 vents for ducting. So I would have to use just 1 6inch fan and filter. It would have to be filter-fan-ducting-cooltube-ducting.

Nope don't think that would work. Those fans need to pull all the way. They don't work that good pushing at all and really can't be in the middle pushing and pulling.

so I may just go with a 48x24x60 tent with a 4ft x 6bulb T5 light. I would use a 4inch inline fan with filter. I would scrog 2 plants.

That would work with the T5 lighting? I would just connect the filter to the fan and vent out the tent. Would a 4inch inline fan/filter be enough for a t5 light?

May as well go for the best. The MH will be too much for your girls until they get into bigger pots though. T5 is great for vegging small plants.

Please. My girls go from solo cup in the dark straight to the 1k mh/hps. It can be done and really gets the growth started.

My seedlings just came out the ground yesterday. They're under the big light now. I just set them on the floor next to the flowering ladies and they're good to go. Within a week or two I'll place them front and center

Yeah a 4in would work with the t5
but you really don't want to skimp on the ventilation it would just give you a lot of trouble in the long run.

ok so maybe I would need to get a 6inch fan with a speed controller.
