here guy this is my best set up works great for me
u get a 3x3x6 tent ............can be a cheapo (just needs a decent passive flap and a upper exhust for a 4 inch ducting
filter ......use this filter and a
4 inch booster fan .........this will controll the smell as it drys.....use like normal with a passive intake
this is the heart of it .........
dry rack ........this one is 35 inchs the tent is 36 can not get any better
now u hang the rack in the center (if u use 4 teirs) it leaves room for u to put a fan at the bottom of the tent with a humidifier
this one .............it has a digital setting my house is around 29% during the winter so i set this in the tent at 35% where the buds are drying i have a meter there and it reads from 45 to 53%...........if u set it on low output u need to add water once every 48 hours to keep it going
now clipping ........start at the bottom and clip off the off shots trim down the fan leaves and leave alittle stem on it place in rack do this all the way around when u get to the flowers tight on branch u clip little under it taken the whole branch then trim down the fan leaves and leave the buds on the branch lay it on the rack .........do this to the whole thing
now time with this set up i am getting great drys with in 7 to 9 days (depends on how thick the buds are) when it is trim down time i wear gloves.........u go around cliping all the leaves off ......and when it is time to put in the jars u clip off as much as the stem as u can (with leaving the bud looking pretty) the little bit left will supply the last bit of water to the buds while it is in the jars so they are not as dry as they were when u trimmed them
from there u just burp the jars every 48/72 hours for the frist 2 weeks for 20 mins (leave the lids off) after that u only need to open them up once a week for the next 4 weeks maximum and u have dried cured your buds
3 things to advoid
1 light it will degrade thc .............dry and storage u want in a dark place with no light
2 temps abouve 80 f.........degrades thc
3 humitidy your goldn zone is 50% 40-60% is the safe area.............too low they dry to fast and taste little off to wet and chance of mold getting attached
