Are you really recommending BS panels now Froggy??????^^^^^ The only cree on that panel would be the few "10w" emitters, probably old/low bin xml's. Plus those cfl uv-b bulbs are ineffective compared to t5. But it does look erotic

I loved it a few weeks ago when i saw this for the first time on ebay I was def laughing out loud for real! I called my fiance into the room she was like "ohhhh god are you buying another light?? if so at least that one has a second use" hahahahahaha They are buck wild crazy putting a price tag like that on it... And i just dont see how that little ass uvb is suppose to be enough for a 4x4ft footprint lolol... They have an imagination I'll give them that

If you want to go the high bay led route froggy just go straight to the source..........Cree's own offerings, probably cheaper too

Here is the elephant in the room that no one has considered

Don't confuse any R/B or multi-spectrum emitter first generation grow results with what will likely happen in subsequent generation seeds/clones, namely: genetic alterations, due to improper spectrums that are likely to negatively affect all subsequent seed generation

Plant and animal genetics will change/adapt due to environmental stresses- and rarely for the betterment

Human and animal predispositions include; heart disease, cancer, scurvy, hip dysplaysia, allergies... to name a few well known subsequent generation genetic alteration/health issues.

Unless the cause changes, predispositions are likely to develop

IMO, this is compounded because mj is a fruiting plant, therefor having a greater need for a balanced spectrum throughout it's life, although that balance is tilted toward blue spectrums in veg, and red in flower

Think how commercial fruit and vegetable agricultural practices of not replenishing the soil with proper macros or micro has impacted not only the taste, but the nutritional value of the foods we eat

At least 10 years ago, the Department of Agriculture stated that agricultural top soil (top 6") is dead

Nutrients is energy, and so is light

So whether I am growing with hot5s or leds, mine will be predominantly WHITE

I wish there was another alternative to inda grow's pontoons that still gave off the emerson effect, I mean don't get me wrong I like indagrow pontoon and if I happen to acquire an inda gro light I will probabily order the pontoon at a later date but man those pontoons are expensive, any one have any alternatives to that pontoon???

Indagrow dont provide enough of the spectrum to produce the 'Emerson Effect'...the Emerson effect is from deep reds provided in the 670-700nm range. Although it is present...not in great numbers.

It certainly doesnt come from their pontoons

It is just my opinion that they dont provide enough in the 670-700 spectrum.....others might be of a different opinion...

Inda gro does put out enough 730 from the induction bulb. The spectrum chart on the site is for the old 400 with the cage around it. Which they haven't carried in a long time. So the 420 does create emmerson effect.

nope. Inda gro won't sell the boards for them. No one else has it. Alternative is DIY or flood light or led strips with separate timer.

I did ask Darryl about how to incorporating 730 at lights out into a DIY led. Via email. Haven't heard back yet. I sent it yesterday. IG is closed on the weekends.
