Clone 4weeks in veg, showing sex

Is that normal? The lights are on 24 hours, 6500k. The clone was taken from a female mother and has been planted for 4 weeks now since sprouting roots. Not concerned, just curious.

Yeah, totally normal.. once preflowers are present they really don't go away..
If a plant is old enough to produce multiple cuts, most likely, it has already show preflowers and the cuts from the plant will show sex with these preflowers.

They do show sex when they get old enough in veg, nothing to worry about.
But you should have known the sex already, as clones, they're the sex of the mother, which presumably is female, otherwise... why clone er? Unless you're a breeder and wanted the pollen.

Same thing happened to me!! But mine was a week after I placed her in my DWC. So about 2 weeks into veg. I started to freak out a little because it was my first survived clone.

Hehe. Yeah, I have one clone that has a donor that is going through the ceiling...I think I am going to wait until that clone is big enough and then take a clone from it and flip as soon as it is rooted good. The other two clones I have I am working on mainlining. One of them is a sativa dom plant though and grows WAY faster than the other....
Indica clone mainline

Sativa clone mainline, outgrowing the damned pot already

All three together. The one in the middle is the from the crazy sativa mother and the first to show sex for some weird reason. Maybe the others are too stressed from mainlining to show sex yet. But I know they are all fems

Mainlining! Thats what i read a few weeks ago!! I forgot what it was called and I havent been able to find it. Im doing a sort of main line. Ill snap some pics later. Im saying LST'ing because Im not going to be defoliating much, if not at all.

Yeah, with mainlining, you strip everything. It's also harder than it looks with clones, because sometimes they don't grow symmetrical. There is a tutorial (look up "mainlining tutorial by nugbuckets") that is really good if you're interested.

Yea i read through a good amount of that thread a few weeks ago. So far shes growing symmetrical, but I feel wrong stripping down a plant for no reason other than my own greed.

:) It IS kind of weird stripping them down like that, but it's bag seed for me until next grow so I don't worry too much. How far along are your girls jerzey?

I only plan on running bag seed and or clones from bagseed myself.

Well lets see,
Plant one is 35 days into flower looking very pretty - Satica Dom Bagseed. If i didnt supercrop she would be at 4' tall.

Plant 2 is my Indica Dom Bagseed - 21 days into flower.

Last but not least is Plant 3 - A clone from the Sativa Dom - FIM'd and pic taken Just before I did a little LST'ing. about 1.5 weeks into veg.
