Hahaha you know I always got my eye on something...i want to see the haul i get first tho, if its another run rivaling previous 1000 watt hps runs than ill be staying in the cmh world....but you never know if a at 600 pops up in the near future. Was thinking of putting led as top lighting and running the cmh bare vert

I'm also curious about your yields w/CMH as opposed to HPS. Spectrum vs intensity. I love the idea of combining vert bare bulb intensity with PAR on top.

My first go around with these bulbs i had already matched the yield output to a 1000 watt hps....so now its about longevity...something these cmh bulbs are supposed to have. And with that being said I'm running a lot of plants in there so I'll really get to see what my gpw can be. So far as you can see in the macro shots above they are pushing along quite fast for only day 38 flower, on strains that should go 9 weeks lol . The idea of led on top with bare cmh would have to be spectacular but very expensive !

So fellow coco growers , or anyone lol, I have used different coco before and now using cocogro loose bags with very little to no perlite and I'm seeing leaf growth problems that I have never encountered. Hopefully the pics below can help me get a point in the right direction. I've been feeding at 700 ppm with tap water that always sits and is aerated for 24 hours before I add nutes, my tap water alone is about 68 to 80 ppm

I think it looks like some Cal-Mag might help (not sure if Ca or Mg though)... For me, it's been tricky to get the problem down early, instead of until the signs of deficiency get kind of obvious. But really, Cal-Mag has been my only real additive besides normal feeding, and it has fixed all my issues under LED.
Either way, I'll be following along and I hope you figure it out soon

Thanks mc, I luckily had some cal mag plus left over from when I used to use the pure blend pro line and added about 3 ml per gal of feeding last night.
