I have come to believe that the yellowing is minor nute burn. Presumably from the soil getting to hot with the amount of light I had on her too early on. So I took out the extra light until she needs it. She has grown tons since then and the yellowing hasn't spread :)
Yellowing at the tips can mean nute burn. If the whole leaf is going yellow I believe its a N def. I know its confusing in the beginning. It also varies plant to plant and set up to set up. So many things can effect the plants its nuts

Ahhh that makes perfect sense. Reading thru all of the plant problem/ symptoms page I couldn't narrow it down definitively. Off the top of your head do you know if RO water contains the essential N needed? If not what product could I use? I believe ff big bloom has N in it correct? Not sure if that would supplement or not. Thanks for your input!

RO is basically dead water. Im not fimilar with FF products, I usually use a soiless substrate and add my nutes in my ro water.

I went two weeks of watering with RO into my ff soil without adding anything to it. I'm sure that's where my problems started. I now add calmag plus with every watering. She really started taking off when I began using the calmag. I'm very happy it recovered well because it looked really bad at 3 weeks old.

I'd back off nutes for a while maybe let her do her thing.... I doubt she's used what's already in the FFOF soil also if you're on city water, let your water sit out in an open container for an hour or 2 before you mix in some CAL-MAG and dump it in your soil!

Atown-

I was just wondering when you started using the lights? Did you start right away when you planted or did you wait for it to break the soil before you started the lights?

the t5 HO has been used since germination. I literally planted then went into my 18/6.. Now with the cfls, I added those when she was 1 week old. However, their was way to much light and the plant couldn't handle it. If you look at my earlier pics, my leaves were "rising" awkwardly. So, I took out the cfls completely until she gets older. And now I'm just using the t5

Thanks frozen! However, my city water is complete garbage, turns brown when I let it sit out for a little bit :/ which is why I'm using the RO water. With that being said, is their anything I should be adding to the water other than calmag? And, is their Nitrogen in my FF soil already? I'd really like to avoid a full blown N deficiency.

So I decided to post the pics tonight. I noticed it had gotten worse. Even the new sets of leaves have brown tips. Also in the older set, the darkening is spreading downwards. Any suggestions? I was thinking nuteburn but would like input and possible solution. Thanks!

So while I went and turned the lights off for the day, I noticed the darkening of the leaves are getting way worse! Spreading down to the middle of the oldest sets of leaves. I'll post pics tonight. Please help lol

Looks like nute burn to me. Stop feeding and just give good water to them. Sometimes also sink water is to high in ph, I myself found this out the hard way and started buying water. There's other ways u can go about it instead of spending all that money on water but that's what I did. When it comes to feeding u will see when the plant needs to be feed and begin to have a schedule of feeding but my opinion it's to early. You should be fine if u have good drainage, just give water for now.

Sounds good, thanks MON! I already use RO water, should I take calmag out of the mix for now also?

Ya I would just use straight water for now. Not an expert but have years of experience and that's what I would do. Someone else might have a better idea.

Completely understandable! I'm on here to learn from experienced growers, so one day I can help newbies like me out. Experience is almost everything, so if you have some, I'm listening. Thanks again.

These pics are from tonight. Leaves aren't looking good. I did water yesterday with RO cal/mag, so today I just watered with 1/2 gallon straight RO water. Hopefully this will wipe away a lot of the nutes. First question, should I water the whole 3 gallon pot? Or just a good width around my plant? Second, should I do a full flush? Thanks in advanced.
