First grow room. Help

Gook luck! Keep an eye on the temps and water daily with that perlite mix. For your nutrients think of how much your budget will be during veg and flower and then start looking. There are some great threads here about nutrient options.

My temps reached about 92 at its peak which seems hot and the lights are off now for the 6 hours. In suggestions to keep it below 90?
Ouch 92 is pretty hot. What are the temps outside the tent? Have you suspended your carbon at the top of the tent yet?

70-76 outside the tent. I have a box fan sitting outside the tent blowing through one of the holes but it did not help that much. I also bought the wrong size clamps for the filter lol. So ill be going to the hardware store today. Any suggestions on clamp or strap type to use?

If you refer back to the picture with 2 pots under the light you can see the hole in the back left where I have the exterior box fan blowing through.

1000 watt in a tent will give you heat issues you'll have to solve. The carbon fan should be pulling the warm air through and out of the tent. Then you'll seed some means of pulling that outside air into the tent. If you dont have to have it sealed shut all the time that will of course help too.
1000 generates a good amount of heat

92 is way too hot. You need an inline fan to pull cool air into the tent from either an AC or window. While you're figuring your heat issues out, keep the tent open while the lights are on. It seems counter intuitive, but it will solve your heat issues for now. The plants won't "smell" for quite a while, which gives you some time.

Would you suggest leaving the door open?

Yes i'd open the door for now, if your carbon filter is still on the floor it's going to be pulling out cooler air from the bottom of the tent. Once you get it higher up in the tent (above the light) your temps should cool down a bit, currently you're sucking out the cool air you're pumping in!

looking at the space you have got,i think that your doing too many.
but i grow big plants,so when it comes to small plants something that
i have never really done.
The stuff you have got equipment wise sounds good, but you really need
to let us know about the height and width of the room.
I have seen friends flower from seed and also seen em flower from about 6"
they on average get about 2 oz per plant in a sea of green,by sea of green i don't
mean plants at different stages of flowering, just a room that the bottom of the room
is covered in small plants.
I have now talked them into doing away with this style and just doing one plant under
a 600 hps light.now he is hitting 12/13 oz of bud dry from clone rather than seed.
have a think about useing regular seeds in future, because this will be far more hardy
to temp and teething problems that new growers have.
I think fem, seeds are a bad idea to be honest, all growers will end up with seeds at some point by
growing fem seeds, but with regular ya will be able to keep a mother and not have to keep
buying seeds every grow, but get a decent strain like dj shorts blueberry, or big buddah blue cheese,
th seeds mk ultra, super silver haze or just cheese.these are strains that will make sure that you have the
smellies that people like,so ya can get a bit of money back from friends with the odd sale.
Back to the question its a bit late for the big one plant,so i would go on your room rather than anything
else whats the height, because if you have 2 ft height then flower at 6 ".
But have a think about what i have said for future grows, hope all goes well,....................tyke

Tyke- 4x4x7 ill probably be starting a journal today when they pop out and ill list everything I have so we can negate any confusions. I was honestly going to just do 4 under the light to maximize space, but I was talked into doing 6 haha.
Neo- thanks Ill be going to good ol home depot today to get some straps for the filter! Hopefully this will fix the issue! And I can be all smiles.

Thanks truckstop. If I cant correct the issue today ill definetly keep you guys posted!

So my plants sprouted today (all except one). They came up quick but they almost instantly started to droop is that normal? Ill add pictures shortly. I moved the light up to about 3 and a half feet since im.running.1000w. And the tent has been at about 84 Highs of 89.

not sure if you do it but i'll chime in, do you shut your fan's off on the dark cycle? Your intake /exhaust fan should be on 24/7 to keep the plants happy

Fans stay running 24/7 I have the door to my tent partially open with a box fan in it. Its been working pretty well at keeping it below 90. It stays between 84-88 lights on and drops to about 74 lights off. Im running 18/6. I also have just a 6 inch fan on the interior.

Looking good, glad to see we have signs of life. Keep the light as far away as you can as they don't need the heat and using a 1000w will provide plenty of light with it up by the roof of your tent.

The temps seem a little better, do you live somewhere quite warm then? Is opening a window to get cooler air in an option? Don't have your fan blowing directly on the plants when they are this small, aim it at the light or angle it to give good air circulation in the tent.

Hey neo! I moved the light about a foot away from the top of the tent and I think its helping. Its probably about 30 degrees where I live right now so cooling is no problem but when it hits may im going to need an a.c. unit. I just taped the door a quarter of the way up and have a box fan blowing in on low. The one seed that didnt sprout some how ended up all the way on top haha. So I put him back in hoping to see him pop out right this time. My filter is still on the ground too though bought the wrong size clamps. There's some discoloration on one of them but I shouldn't be too worried about that? Besides that as soon as I turned that light on and came back an hour later they were popping haha.

Im using a soilless mix with I'd say 30 percent purlite (came at 15 percent i just added more). So I've been giving it nutrients right off the start.

The first is just a root enhancer
The second is my veg nutrients.
Keeping it basic lol.

Quick update: The 6th seed has popped but the shell casing is still almost fully enclosed on it. Should I just let it be?
