So this is my set up I plan on running 6 big bud x northernlights plants under it. All seedlings [fem] in dirt. I have 1000w halide (veg) and 1000w hps bulb (flower). Just wondering if im good to start growing in here. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated because I'd like to get a good yield out of my first grow and since I just dropped a little over a grand on this I'd like for it to be worth it. Thanks :) also ill be making a journal here in a couple days if you'd like to follow this grow.

Also I have the carbon filter on the ground right now (plan on moving to the roof of the tent), also I have the filter running from there to the hood one side then on the other side I have it running to the exhaust fan to the top of tent sucking out. Is this right?

Looks sweet! Your gonna get some sticky icky buds with that 1000w light. I wish I could run that kind of power! Got some questions that will help us help you.

Do you have any circulation fans in place? Im assuming you have a thermometer, what are the highs and lows. Also on the RH. What size buckets are you using? Will you be LSTing them or scrogging? Theres probably more but I smoked a bowl half way through this post and forgot but start with these. Looks like your going to have fun

Edit: I use the Advanced Nutes PH perfect line for my ladys, is really brainless. Ive always wanted to go organic though.

I have big bud x northernlights (fem) from world of seeds.
Cool, I'm growing Big Bud at the moment. If Big Bud is half Northern Lights anyway and it's been bred with another Northern Lights surely that's incest, you might hear the sound of dueling banjo's coming from your tent!! :o

As for the nutes it's like asking what's your favorite beer! Everyone will tell you something different. As long as you get to know what your medium needs to sustain a plant then your nutes will be down to personal choice.

Anyway enough of this talking and get them planted!! lol

So I have my seeds in now 6 pots 4 gallons. There's only 4 in the picture but there's actually 6. My temps have been around 80 solidly on the interior I do have one fan in there you just cant see it lol. Is that temp okay for seedlings and everything else? Not sure what listing or scrounging is but I plan on lollipoppi mg them and top them for four main colas. Any suggestions im always happy to read/listen.

So should I SCROG this strain? I know it makes them bush out after the reading about it but im just wondering the importance level of it.

Looking good, what soil did you choose? Temps are ok, but just don't get that 1000w light too close as seedlings don't need a great deal of light like that. It would be like putting them in direct sunlight, so keep it at least 3-4ft away to start with.

My advice to you would be to just grow them out on your first grow, and get to know your grow and how the plants grow before you start any more advanced techniques. Just getting the balance between your medium and nutes can be complicated, and stressful enough as it is without trying new techniques.

Your 6 plants are going to fill that area quite easily anyway, so why over complicate things for yourself?

Neos right, instead of playing around with diffrent ways of growing. I would dial your nutes in and just get used to how the plant grows. Itll help a lot later on when you do decide to train your plants. 6 plants alone is a decent sized task.

I agree with neo...just grow them out and see what happens. There is lots to learn and no need to overwhelm yourself with advanced techniques just yet. Keep notes on everything you do and how the plants react. I may have missed it but what are the dimensions of your tent?

My temps reached about 92 at its peak which seems hot and the lights are off now for the 6 hours. In suggestions to keep it below 90?
