Would life really be any worse if we didn't go to work and instead just chose to VEG out on Mushrooms, LSA, Marijuana, Etc and constantly had orgies going on, why is this type of activity only available to the "Elite". Nationalism and pride/ego are the two most major problems I see in this world.
and of course somebody is gonna say well who'll grow the food, and I say BAH, fruit trees grow on their own, and all you'd have to do is catch some sort of wild life occasionally and throw them in the cauldron.
two words come to mind, money and power. he who has the gold makes the rules. this has been the way for centuries throughout time. why? because people love power, they thrive on it. and when they have it, they can do anything they want and get away with it. pot parties, cocaine bashes that lasted for hours, LSD love-ins of the 60s, you name it, it all happened because of ridiculous amounts of funding from (ironically, yes haha) the government, university professors, people of wealth who were interested in "studies of the mind". look at who has the huge amounts of land to put on music/marijuana legalization festivals throughout the world for instance, they all have considerable amount of funds to make it happen.
its bad enough trying to go to the shop at certain times around here , sure we could cram a trillion more houses on earth but why the hell would we want to, it would be ridiculous the amount of food and industry needed to sustain that many more people . i think the earth is overpopulated now, another trillion homes full of people would be unthinkable .
Bangkok, China is a perfect example of this overcrowding, sickening amounts of crammed in living quarters. there is water and food shortages everywhere, and the smog is horrific. it's almost like they're waiting for it to kill off a few hundred thousand people to make room for more. sad situation.
there are other ways of doing things though and prime examples of this are The Farm in Tenn. that has 300 people living communally, there are Ashrams all over the world who live communally, off the land and what people produce. all sorts of plants not just marijuana. i read recently about the source family doing something similar to this in L.A. back in the 60s and in HI in the 70s, as well. there is a open religious commune in India that has a huge golden mound building, but i forgot the name of the town, its totally autonomous. its a rare, one of a kind place though.
