Anywhere from 3-5 ml per gallon once a week should be good. You should not use sterilizersike h2o2 with bennies cuz it will just kill the microbes. I believe 3% is the wrong kind anyway, but i have never tried it. Generally in dwc cloudy water and spiking ph is an indicator of slime bloom. Roots turn brown within 24 hours in my system if I don't use bennies... some people seem to never get rot and do nothing special to prevent it... but that is lucky for them.

For anyone using tap water, it should be dechlorinated with tap water conditioner from the pet store cuz I have found chloramine hinders the effectiveness of aquashield.

Why is it so hard to get new growers to understand that the key to eliminating problems is to prevent them. Why do they wait till they have a problem and then want to fix it.

Ill tell you why. Because every grower has a different idea on how to go about growing and it is difficult to filter through the bs, who's right, who's wrong, what is best for the system I have, and can I afford all this advice. Equal to your question,I wonder why everyone has such widely differing opinions on what seems like a rather simple and straight forward process, and why some feel the need to hate on those of us trying to filter our way through this process.

I know what you mean there is a lot of bullshit and people giving advice about things they have no real first hand experience with. Lots of stoner theory gets tossed around as fact and experience.
