Mold in top few inches of soil (pics)

I assume i am not over watering, and i do let my soil dry out quite a bit before i water again. (plants are usually about wilting)
I use 707 soil, and when i transplant i add Roots Organic Uprising(grow,foundation, and elements), plant success, Azos, lime, and some groganic. As for food on a more regular basis i use the Earth Juice lineup. Grown under T5's and 400w MH, with fans circulating the air, and co2 via propane heater. I also use plastic bags for pots at this stage. could have something to do with it.. Any idea if this is a bad fungus? Good fungus?

looks healthy to me, and I think that's mycelium.

That's the good stuff. That means your soils is alive with beneficial fungus and bacteria. As long as it stays white it's good!! I've never used 707, but I'm currently using the original roots organic blend and I have a smaller culture in my soil.

Looks like mycelium to me but cobweb mold is also pretty common and can resemble mycelium. If it turns any other color than white then beware like famingo24 stated.

I agree with humble. Its myceliem. Very beneficial fungi. I make mycelium cake and add it to my teas.

the worm castings add a lot beneficial bacteria and microbes. i have seen this king of growth after adding fresh castings and green-sand to some bland bagged soil and letting sit in a tote for a couple weeks.
just my observation.maybe i,m wrong.

i don,t think you would have myceliem in soil that could not support good microbial life. i think the worm shit helps. i think its good stuff.
