Hi all,
Here are a 4-pack of Lemon Kush just sprouted yesterday
in anticipation of the upcoming outdoor season ;-) Gonna top,
LST and super crop them in plastic planters to keep the height
in check.

I hope I'm wrong but I may have bad news. I'm growing a FS Lemon Kush right now, 6 weeks into flower and she's beautiful. All's good except she just started sprouting nanners- just afew. I'm tweezering them off but... dunno. Its super lemony and resinous and a heavy yielder and I want to keep her but the risks are high. Apparently 5% do this, and as such they've reduced the price. I might chop it anyday as trichs are already cloudy but I think it could still bulk up a bunch- she's supposed to go 2 more weeks.

Anyway I don't mean to hijack and I hope you've got a different batch. Worst case its just a 1 in 5, and the male bits don't show (or didn't for me) til week 6 of flower... so might want to keep your eyes out for that... :joint: Good luck!

I have had strains that Hermie inside but do fine outside. Good luck on the height containment. A little early to pop em. They're gonna get huge no mater what you do.

Yeah, and on top of that i just popped 5 Western Winds beans. If they start to get too big, i'll just move them indoors and flower under my 250w hps lamp.

damn so now I dont know if i should get feminized seeds fuck
Dude, feminized seeds are great (for the most part). These Lemon Kushes were real cheap and all sprouted within 3 days. There MAY be a small chance of one of them developing a few male flowers close to harvest. No big deal, since by that time, they will be ready to chop anyway. Feminized seeds (in general) are a good way to go. A lot depends on the breeder. I've heard many bad reports of Greenhouse Seeds and Dutch Passion's gear going hermy, so i don't buy their seeds. Do some research and you will know where to buy good, feminized beans. Good luck, and happy growing ;-)_~
PS- Just cracked all 5 of my Sagarmatha Western Winds seeds- 100% germination

I think you'll love the plant, plus its 95% likely to NOT have nanners. The Lemon Kush I'm about to harvest is very heavy and smells delicious, its also super early with nearly all cloudy trichs at 6 weeks. I'd LOVE to have this be all sensi/no males and will look to grow the strain again once FS gets the 5% hermis out. I do however spend about 20 minutes each of the past 4 days with a magnifying glass and a really bright WHITE headlamp (it really highlights the yellow nanners) plucking away. Maybe 5 today, so not many. I'm just growing a personal harvest so if a bit escapes and seeds an ocassional bud in the rest of my garden so be it. Clearly its not a result of them being female seeds (or Female Seeds' seeds) since the company noted the problem in their literature- albeit after the fact! If it happened to all female seeds it wouldn't be noted in just this one particular strain. Good luck!:joint:

Reports vary, but I have not heard many good things about DP. I have however heard their fem seeds turn hermie, many times from many different people. I have no exp with them, because it was enough to put me off from buying their gear. Sensi Seeds, Nirvana, Pyramind, are just some of the good companies out there. Good luck, and happy growing ;-)_~
