How do you tell the difference between a hermaphrodite and a male?
Heres my latest discoverys.A few pictures might help... I'm taking a lot of macros on my plants, but I don't have everything organized just yet. I've found one plant that has some weird parts, and lots of others that I'm not sure are even pre-flowering just yet.
No they are two different plants. If these pics are of the same plant, it appears it may have hermie tendencies. If I only had a couple of instances of male-ness, I'd pinch it off. Very nice pics.
It dose not matter. You dont want either in your garden. If its not a girl trash itHow do you tell the difference between a hermaphrodite and a male?
So basically, a hermie has pubes with its balls right?this is a hermie .......... View attachment 145286
Line panhead said, a hermaphrodite features traits of both sexes. You will see female flowers AND male pollen sacs.So basically, a hermie has pubes with its balls right?
Thanks.
Hermies are created when a plant is stressed. It is a mechanism to ensure the survival of the plant.can a hermie fuck itself? and make seeds?
Mostly true, but not entirely true. Some seeds have high hermaphrodite characteristics, as such they will go hermie regardless of stessors.Hermies are created when a plant is stressed. It is a mechanism to ensure the survival of the plant.
That trait is usually passed on because they came from Hermie parents though. All feminized seeds come from a hermie at one point in their life.Mostly true, but not entirely true. Some seeds have high hermaphrodite characteristics, as such they will go hermie regardless of stessors.
Compost hermies. Shit, compost everything.so now that we know what a hemie is, what is recommended to do with them? im guessing trowing it into the compost pile since it can also cause your other girls to produce seeds.?
