Little pre grow cloning help please

had a good look back though alot of pages on this but found nothing.

i am about to start my first grow and a friend is giving me 2 clones to me started. I would like to pop 4 plants in for my first go.
so can anyone tell me whats the soonest i could clone the clones i am being given and could i have enough time to let them catch the other two up?

I wouldn't take clones until the plants are nice and big and healthy. Then your clones are going to take a week or two to root. So.... no you're not going to be able to run 4 on the same schedule. The new clones will be at least a month behind.

Grow out the clones you have be given, to about 1 month, then fim them as they should be on their 4-5th lateral, any time after the fimming is good
just work on the clones you got, avoid anything else at this stage until you have studied

perfect thank you for the replies. thats that one out the window.

one other way i was thinking would be wait untill they are big enough to take 2 cuttings of each, then start from 4 clones and dispose of the first 2?

I have better success when I wait until the donor mom is at least 5 weeks old. Works 4 me, BigSteve.
