wow, I agree the guy got ripped off....but that isnt very 'zen' of you.
you are correct sir, i guess i was just firing back at the guy, because he and some other jackoff kinda made me feel like shit because i accidentally left a post on their CANADA DAY CELEBRATION thread asking for help and they tottally ripped on me, and i was giving him a taste of his own medicine. So a thousand lashes with a wet noodle and I'll be back on my path of enlightenment:peace:

Lol, you guys are hard on the poor fellow. I don't think $2500 US is that crazy guys. It adds up in a hurry.

Chiller and light alone would put you close to a thousand....

Don't get me wrong, I started very cheap as well, but cheap don't work for year around hydro grows ;(

To the other idiot who said he spend over $13,000.00 in USD (his currency of course) on a fucken system. WOW - i'm impress with your stupidity. You must be like some rich dude, but yet you still manage to get beat by other smarter folks. All that money and still dumb!

The most outragious system is that bullshit fucken rounded fucken thing like a wheel and they wanted like $7,000.00 USD - give me a fucken break.

My entire system costed me under $500.00. Fucken ever heard of ebay?

Hey mate, you are turning into an ass in a hurry here:evil:
God bless you for buying your shit for under $500, but that's just about what my chiller costs. There is no need to rub his nose in the bad decision he may have made (may not even be that bad). Some people like to buy new, and furthermore, he didn't come here for your sorry ass to appreciate his system, he came to get some help with his plants!

Smoke one and get some maners:mrgreen:

ppm is 1600 ph 6.5 water temp 28degrees. 24 by the time it gets to plants.

OK.... well after all the bickering about how you overspent (and you did)... you answered your own question... right there ^^^

Did you even read up on hydro at all before you started growing?

PH for hydro range is 5.5 to 6.5. Even though you are at 6.5... that is at the MAX range for hydro... and your plants don't like it! Ideally you should try to keep it around 5.7.

PPM of 1600??? WOW!!! That is ALSO at the top of the range for hydro... and you need to ease your way up to that range. In the first month of flower you should not be at 1600 PPM. Flush those plants and get that number down to around 900 while your plants are recovering. Then slowly work your way up.

Res temp is 24 to 28 Celsius?? Let's see.. that's between 75 - 82 Fahrenheit... and that's TOO HOT! Get that temp down UNDER 70 degrees.

Correct these problems and your plants should recover.

Good luck!

188cb dude have u ever heard of bio domes they cost billions of dollars it all depends on how much ur into ur setup i bought my first setup from ebay and it costed me more than it would of in the shops i payed around 1100 aus dollars for it and as for the aus dollar remark look at my location so i believe it is u that is the idiot.

dutchfunkle. hopefully il get 15lb but im growing maroc x afghan which im pretty sure is a crap strain.

ok well just checked the ph meter the guy at the store calibrated for me the ph was set to 2.00 to high so i was giving it ph of 4.5 ppm is now 1100 and will increase as plants get better. can someone please tell me if i should be using these nutrients they are monsta bud, bud link, top up pk, oxy plus and nitrozyme. i add that with the normal nutrients that i add at 1/4 strength the normal nutes are there own so i dont even know if there any good. other than that think all is good. o and changed res heat to 70F. anything else im forgetting? im starting to agree with people when they say i got ripped:(

hey mate, i'm in west aus if your round, i'd be haapy to come over n help you out! lol
although these days our dollars worth around nearly as much as the american dollar, there economy's in the shit while ours is flourishing!:blsmoke: so i hate to agree with everyone else gainst a fellow aussie. but you did get a little jipped.
there are heaps of stores around our beautiful country that have everything you need and remember, you cant trust your local seller, all they want is your money!
the people on here are experienced and friendly with plenty to offer.
just remember if your going to ask a question about a prob, the more info the better... Ph, PPM, Temps, ect especially pics(worth a thousand words)
back to business,
sounds to me like you hve a bit of a ph prob, just flush with lots of RO water.
If your using 2 600W HPS each one can easily cover a good 1m square so you should be able to grow 15 plants easy if each plant is in a squre pot around 30cm x 30cm, thats 9 per light!
good luck

If you're going to grow then learn to calibrate that meter yourself. I clean and calibrate mine every 2 weeks. 70 F.... probably ok.... but if it were me I'd set it to 68F. Remember.....the warmer the water the faster the algae grows... and yes... a few degrees does make a difference.

1100 PPM is higher then I would have gone for recovering plants.... but probably ok. Just don't go over that amount.... for at least 2 weeks. 5.5 is on the low end of the PH range... I'd try to get it dialed in at 5.7. Hopefully you will see improvement in you plants soon.
