I live on 23 acres have a cwp with many guns keep a mini 45 loaded and ready as it stays on me and on floor beside bed while I sleep. along w a remy tactical 18.5inch barrelled shotgun w 00 buckshot. An ak47, 30-30, older 35 cal rifle,243 scoped and a .22 long rifle. I have eyes (cameras) that can see everything up to about 150ft away and clearly along with a camera that catches your car and license plate, deer cams, 4 inside cameras w sound. I dont fuck around come around me and I no your there before you get there. Almost 7k in cameras and security I am ready for whatever

So many of us in the community do own guns and love shooting. Im talking responsibly shooting,owning,handling and many others but legally we are not allowed to have them. Now my question is ehat would you do if you got robbed or something and your legal registered firearm was stolen and police come to look. You grow they find out now guns & growing charges mixed unless legal mmj patient but still not allowed to have a gun(federally I believe).
Im also adding in the reason of having a gun for home defense/protection. And growing doesnt make many get a gun for home defense many have them prior to starting their hobby and have been shooting longer then they probably have been smoking.

where i live you can have both guns and ganj. you just cant be using your gun when your under the influence. i know a guy who not only grows and smokes weed, but takes a lot of prescription medications as well. he hunts and shoots rifles with his cop friend every year. be responsible with it and you should be fine. i have a couple friends with both CPLs and medical marihuana cards. not everyone smokes all day and from the time they get up. i like to smoke later in the day when im done with all my shit. high or not though, some robber scum breaks into my house and threatens me or my family or friends, im gonna fill him up with lead. i wouldnt want it to come to that, but if it's their life or someone elses, im sure not gonna choose their life over mine or my families/friends. im all about being protected and putting family/friends first. also responsible use is a must. you wouldnt believe how many accidents even the military has in training with guns.

Damn, I feel sorry for you paranoid types. Home is where to be safe and relaxed, I don't get the pure obsession with having a loaded weapon at my side at all times. Statistically, that gun is more likely to harm yourselves or a loved one. If you feel that unsafe move, I'm sure you can find a place where you can truly rest easily.

And I'm not anti gun by any means. Don't own one now, no reason to, plus with the ambiguity of the law, I feel no reason to complicate my life anymore than necessary. Plus stuff is just stuff, steal it (minus my girls of course), I have insurance, and back ups of everything important off site.

When the law does become more clear, I'm certainly going to get myself a .357/.38 Patrolman, I truly enjoy that revolver

When I grew I kept my toys at a friends house. I never keep them loaded.. so, in the case of a home invasion I probably would not go for a toy anyways.

I had a friend who was recently raided. He had toys in the house. They only ended up charging him with one felony and it was not gun related. However, I think it played a part in some of the terms of his probation.

I feel completely safe at my home. when I make extra money thats what I do. I no my child is safe my home is safe etc. The only reason I went so extravagant is I had an old friend tried to rob me and he would creep around my house etc. About 3 months ago I had a guy break into several garages sheds around my area and from my house he got a brand new stihl weedeater kombi setup w attachments and a stihl chain saw. I was not home at the time but when I noticed my shit was gone I had a vehicle license plate a video of him talking and him rummaging thru my shit. I gave the video to police along w tag number from car he was driving and he was arresred a week and a half later. Everyone aroubd me and i got our shit back and he is still in jail till this day. I just like knowing whats around my house when I am not there I can also see if my dogs get out the .5 acre fenced in area when I am not there.
