Guerilla Grow Concerns.

So a few months ago I had my first grow, which was an indoor CFB grow of two baggy seeds. They both produced a small amount of bud, which exceeded my hopes, since I only had 3 light bulbs. Now, I want to grow two or three autos outdoors for personal use. I have three major concerns that I would like input on.

:!:1- Is my location safe?- I live in a mostly rural area, with the closest neighbor being about 200 yards away. I want to try a guerilla grow in the center of a giant blackberry patch. It gets sun ALL day long, there is a nearby spring for easy water in case of drought, and the soil is absolutely perfect. The problem is that it is near another house, maybe 150 yards away, and a clearing with a power line about 30 yards away. I've never seen anyone there, but there is a possibility of light traffic. Will the blackberry bushes be enough to hide a few short plants? Also, what can I do to further hide them?

:!:2- What strain should I use?- I would prefer a sativa dominant hybrid, but anything would really work. It must be a fast grower and at last a 6.5/10 on potency, and I must be able to have them shipped to my location in the USA.

:!:3- How to decrease chances of being traced/caught? Okay, so if the crop is busted, what can I do to help prevent being traced? I know the usual shit like no buckets, trash o r obvious paths to my house. Any tips for guerilla growing would be great.

Thanks in advance to anyone with help! ~PB:leaf:

You are a birdwatcher, that's why you have that book and binoculars with you.

Low growing and branches staked down using sticks and natural looking devices is one way to keep girls hidden and play the auxin confusion game to your advantage. Putting brush in your access paths is another. Fewer visits to water keeps the trail from being beaten down. Miracle grow has crystals that hold water. Why are you so afraid, this is a free country right? Ooops, too many bong hits. Be safe.

One thing you will have going for you is most people think of weed being harvested in Sept/Oct and don't bother looking for it until fall. What about kids picking berries? Hide in plain sight, becareful.

The best time to do gardening in a high profile location is dawn so people don't don't wonder what your up to you've got time think it out. Use google earth to look for other locations.

Is this spot on your property? that makes it better!

Autos are going to be small plants because they almost skip over vegetative growth and go from seedling to budding plant. Just keep asking questions and reading, you can never have enough knowledge, there is always something more to learn. Good Luck, stay safe!

if it's on your property go hard!. how big is your property? are there places on your property that are not easily seen from the road?.
Avoid places where people would go.

Why not buy/make a hoop house on your back lawn or something?, it's translucent so you cant see through them and they're usually pretty short.

If you want a fast Landrace sativa. Ciskei from The Tropical Seed Company is an African Landrace sativa that flowers 8-9 weeks!.

What about a small greenhouse? you can force flower the plants so you can get an earlier harvest. I grow in areas with gorse to stop people wandering into my crop - it's nasty sore itchy spikey stuff. I always get some nice scratches and cuts every time I go to my spot. Trust me nobody like walking through the stuff.

Hey cool avatar Northernman!

Maybe find a new spot? Autos are quick anyways though. If people go out there screwing around and stuff picking berries I would stick them elsewhere. Also done be seen going to or from it. Only mess with em at night and for god's sake don't go there everyday to stare at em.

Getting busted? Do police come patrolling through the area on foot with dogs in routine dopefarm searches? The only thing you have to worry about are choppers. They're not gonna dispatch a fleet of drones over 3x3 foot plants. That's even if they spot them (highly unlikely)
Don't tell anyone. No one in your household. Not your girlfriend (especially this one) Not your best friend. Not your girlfriend. No one period. Whatever you do don't tell your girlfriend.
You stand a better chance of getting ripped than busted. And that's if you tell someone......anyone.
If you do you'll find out that there're no friends in this game. 3 plants = roughly 3 ounces of smoke = several hundred $ that your friend is not going to have to spend to get high........for a while.
Oh and don't tell your girlfriend. You're looking at a couple months that you're going to have to spend waiting on these plants to grow and finish. Going from loving a significant other to hating them takes as little as 30 seconds. Women are very spiteful creatures. Even when they were in the wrong. Then the next thing you'll either chop em due to paranoia or lose sleep due to it if you keep going. Other than that water crystals are your best friend when digging holes to put them in.
Get some photo plants going somewhere too at the same time. You'll be out of your auto smoke by the time fall harvest is ready.

That bird watching shit is a tough sell, particularly when carrying a day pack full of nutes/water. I tried it once, grow was discovered.

Nature photographer is a much, much better cover...people think you have camera equipment in the pack. I have successfully grown within 200 feet of traveled horse paths etc. using this method. That camera gives you a reason to be anywhere, and allows freedom of movement during daylight hours.

So I decided to germinate in early March. Strains will be:
1- Afghan Kush Ryder
2- Jack Herer Autos
1- Auto Purple
and possibly some AK Auto strain.

Think different?.

Do you own a hunting rifle? way easier passing off being a hunter if you look like a pot grower lol. Then you can have a massive backpack jammed with soil/nutes.water etc and completely get away with it. No one's gonna say "that hunter looked pretty suspect". I sure as shit couldn't pull off being a nature photographer or bird watcher.

I have never smoked any AK( that I know of) so I am not sure if it would be the best choice. I want the most bang for my buck since I can grow only 3-4 plants.... Whats the smoke like?

i switch it up too time of year. ex if wildberries are in season pick some while youre at it.....wild catnip all that good stuff gives a good reason for being dirty and having gardening tools. there are many plants that can be harvested too cover your real intent and if ya wanna actually use the stuff its an added bonus.

Sounds good Liddle, all you have to be is confident in your story I guess. Hunting is the best way to find good spots down here in New Zealand, so many hunting areas and bush in this country lol and we only have 4 million people here so you can get to some pretty 'untouched' places here.

Think Different would be the best Auto AK strain for yield and potency although I've never tried it or AK47.
Apparently the real AK is shit now. Orginal parents lost.

Yeah, that's the reason I'm not so sure... Maybe I'll just stick with what I have now. I just hope I get enough to last for 10 or so months :/

Is there any big national parks or bush walking tracks where you live?. You should go proper guerilla in the forest somewhere - I'm sure you can pull multiple pounds off single plants being in Southern US. Plant 3 Ace seeds Malawi on a full season and you'll smoking like a Rasta for the whole year . You're not going to have a years supply with 4 autos though, if you smoke everyday.

I smoke 4-7 grams a week, so im trying to adjust my strain selection to match it until December... I have been looking at "Baby Boom." It is a Ruderalis mixed with Northern Lights X Blueberry. It is said to produce 75-150 grams dry in less than 65 days... I will probably grow 2 of them in place of the AK.

Look up think different though, I've seen outrageous results on the net. it actually has a veg time so you will get decent results. Dwarf autos are a waste of time imo.

dont expect even the lowest number with a first time strain let alone an auto on the first run. unless you are a aster that is
