I love the line, "woman dont like us to have other things in our life to make us happy" lol that could be the motto of both my ex wives.

Anyways, plants are looking great JD, always love stopping over and checking them out.

thanks bassman!

your plants roots hit the res yet?!?!
I have no way on knowing honestly, unless I am lookingat the bottom and seeing if they came through the top pot?
Ill look and see.
i needed to top last week and take clones
Me too, but am putting it off, I need to flush and change res as well....tomorrow.
Dude! This sucks balls!

Women do not like it when we have other things in our
lives that make us happy. ..or so it seems sometimes.

This is true

Thanks BM. Top when ready, and do remember to make clones.

I literally pulled and tossed about seven clones the other day. I went
through my Veg area, listed the holdings, up-potted the best of each breed
as the mother for that breed, and kept only one other clone of each in a
beer cup for now.
I have thrown lots of clones away a few times as well
The point is that all it takes is a beer cup if you end up with an extra clone,
and you can just chuck them if you have to. :0)

The mothers are looking cool:

Good luck! Some breeds will sit there for a month, I swear! HGK was one, and PW too.

No worries. It is good to have you here.

I am busting the numbers, but really only in my experimenting with many breeds.

I run one small tent only. (tho I do want one for males ;0) and I sell nothing.

The new BB breeds (ED, JD, and BP) and the TGAs JTR and JC2 accompany
the Ace Panama and Purple Haze, Cheese, Diesel, and G13 Haze:

I just pulled inner buckets out and checked.
I didnt expect to see anything, but sure enough there are beautiful white roots coming from the bottoms of most of the pots.

Ill take pics tomorrow

@Stoneslacker, I am looking at your thread now

That sounds great!

I am also going to try RDWC but this will require new funds and
that will have to wait until I get back into the work force.

Good luck!

Yeah, great work there.

TBH, I have thought all along that the optimal number of plants
for my tent is really four. This would make for good overall (side)
development of my plants, and would allow for some side access too.

When I am happy with my breed experiments, then I will slow down. :0)

JD

P.S. I wanted to add that the number four was suggested by an experienced
grower when I first arrived. I understood his reasoning at the time, and
my response has not changed: I am giving up yield per plant in order to
taste as many different breeds as I can.

I like to use the yield of my SOG grow of AK-47 and Somango. With 36
2 gallon smart pots, I figure that my 3X3 array of 5 gallon hempys leaves
each hempy having to equal the yield of four of the SOG elements.

This has been done by some breeds (ie. Blue Dream) and not by others.
(I believe that the yield of LTK is a tad too airy to match up in weight)

i know i am killing my self with the little plants but i can run more plants and find some great ones. it would take me years to flower all the babys i have and i will be done this summer and have some great plants and seed

I ran only 1-2 strains for a long time, and I'm gonna try to get back down to prolly 4-5 in the long run, but I gotta say I like the variety. Its just impossible for me to try to dial anything in with so many that are sooo different right now which sucks.

Yup.

The only thing that really crashed the party so far was then
I completely misjudged the stretch of a plant or two.

It made me think about cutting the ceiling off my tent, and
to extend it to the ceiling of the man-cave. :0)

I have 8 strains and 15 plants and I can say they all are different.
In ebb n gro this makes for a bunch of somewhat happy and some not so much.

I plan to run a single strain through this setup after this one is over if I dont do an outdoor one this spring.

I really wanna get some highly efficient grows under my belt

Lol well said JD!! like papa said, it could very much be a motto!

bassman once roots hit the res you should see noticeable growth from my understanding. you watering your hempys enough for a lot of run-off?!?! it is important to do so, the run of enables air to get sucked down into medium. that and im sure you dont want stagnant nutes chilling in the bottom of the pot. check up or ask around on how much run off people are allowing.

You will. Fortune favors the bold.
I have never gotten a high yield.
I figure I need to read the plants better, and learn more about them.
The way I grow with so many strains at once I have never learned tolok at them and figure them out since I am always overwhelmed.

I did one grow of Tahoe OG, and they looked amazing with insane bag appeal, but the pheno was crappy in most regards.

That is why I quit growing a single cut at once...12 oz bleh tasting bud, and taste to me is 50%
