12/12 Hours of Operation?

Getting ready to do my first flip... Just wondering what hours you guys recommend running it and why? I know the 12 of dark is very important, so I am planning to run the 12 dark when the house is most quiet and no one will turn any lights on. Think 7am-7pm? Thoughts and reasons!

(I know there is no right answer but maybe your guys times will give me some ideas when to run mine!)

if you are large scale. more then 6 lights. then you need to have lights on at night . it is cooler then the day. if small grower then do what your needs best.

Most people tend to run their lights during the night time to either keep the plants warm at night (winter) or to keep the plants cool during the day (summer).

In the summer time I run at Night, In the Winter I run during the day.
It's pretty cold where I live in the winter.
During the Summer some days can get pretty hot, even into the night with the A/C running. I'll run a 10/14 ten On 14 Off on those really hot days/Nights
You can run a little cooler if you run into problems with heat. It's easy to do, especially in the Summer.

I set my lights to come on at about the same time as I get up in the morning and get my day going. Lets face it . We all like to look at our girls and see what they are doing . The lights might as well be on so you can look. Don't want to disturb the dark cycle if it can be helped. Also , I grow in my closet in my room so we all go to sleep together. No lights on to bother the girls. They do like hearing me get some at night. Cheers to marrying a nimpho. lol . At 50 , I still got it.

Yes the other way makes MUCH more sense, as to how to get your room cooler and such, but i do not think i have the self control not to keep peeking my head in there during the day to see if they all have died lol.
