You should wait until the soil is dry about 2 inches down so that the roots get oxygen, marijuana likes dry periods. It is very easy to be tempted to overwater bt try to resist, ideally water with a ph level between 6.5 and 7 is the best, have it at room temperature.

what size pots ? and it all depends on a lot of things but me personally i give 4 liters every 3 days

dude, you're not even sure how to water??? how do you plan on finishing a grow? you might want to consider reading some stickies. you don't want to be coming here asking questions every day...

I rock one of these, I am a rep for them as well. $75 for the filter and accessories, 3 minutes to install and boom pure water for 3-5 years. I don't worry about anything being in my water. Private message me if you want to matrix / catalyst lab test results.
How much to water.....as much as your plants tell you they need.

If you have an outdoor pot and you notice that the soil is dry quiet often then you might need to play around with how amount of water you use.
If you have indoor you can roughly tell by the size of the pot and what type of soil you are using.

I have a question. What kind of filtration does that filter use? I couldn't find a specific listing. My worry is that many water filters use ion exchange to remove heavy metals and contaminants, but ion exchange can add lots of sodium to the water as it is sodium ions that they swap for the heavy metals they are removing. For me, and other people living near the ocean, one of the main reasons to use a filter is to reduce the high levels of sodium in the tap water (In my case it would need to lower the 66-100ppm of sodium to under 40ppm), and for that reason Ion Exchange filters won't work. Makes it particularly frustrating that the specifics of the filters are usually left out of most advertisements

I actually use a water dropper on my seedlings, they really need very very little water as the roots
Can damp off and it's happened to me early on.
keep it slightly moist but not wet. Takes some patience
in the early stages but it's all go and grow once you hit veggie stage.

Filter : Activated carbon technology, I can't delve into details of formulas for the carbon, but we do not use ion exchange as that is an ineffective form of filtration.
Sodium : No companies, beyond RO, are touching on any level of desalinization, filters will remove some amounts of sodium from water sources. This is a hot topic in the world of water purification for not only drinking water but also oil drilling and their brine waters. If I had to guess I would say you will see around a 45 - 55% reduction in sodium from your tap water.
Filters won't advertise those types of claims because they would open themselves up to a world of pain in regards to product testing, certification, etc. No filter companies, beyond anyone in RO, is working on making those claims. Currently there are some emergency filters that can be used, but nothing for residential / commercial usage. Thing I hate about RO is the waste production you get from it and they don't last long filter wise.
