1st Unoffical Micro/Cab/Stealth Party Cup Grow Off.....?

Any interest in a party cup grow off?

I know there are a varied amount of growers in here and instead of splitting it up. It would be just everyone head to head, PC Cab vs. Tent vs. Stealth Cab. LED, CFL or HPS/MH or whatever yah. Organic vs. AN vs Supersoil vs. whatever else....
.
I think it would be cool to get everyone together a little more cohesively, talking smack, sharing strain info, or solving grow problems.

The 4th Official Party Cup in the LED forum has swag, we will have categories for bragging rights. Maybe if it continues we can source swag and make it worth some of your time and effort? Producing flowers is effort enough for myself [at times ]

Their rules:

The rules are simple:
1}MUST be in a 16oz plastic party cup,
2}MUST be started and finished under the same light source,
3}N/A Date To be Determined ,
4}MUST post update weekly.
5}No Veg time, straight flowering

Write on the cup the following:


Strain name
Date germed
Date seeds pop out of cup


In your first post, give a few details about your strain, medium, nutrients, lights, any training, etc...


Competition ends when all contestants have harvested.

Any suggestions?
2-3 weeks for registration...?

• 1st you have to have beans to be able to play, but maybe best of 3 or 4 seeds or a gimme if don't germinate?
• Size on the 16 oz party cups for the PC Cab or any other Micro-growers, is that an issue, height-wise?

  • Overall Show-Off of the Grow-off

Though personally I use autos for my stealth runs, like some other guys in here.
So, suppossively we'll have enough competitors, but why really separate this from the Official Party Cup Grow?
I mean, stealth is not really gonna change things; most of us have the space to develop a fully mature lady straight from 12/12, and if we don't, we won't be anywhere near winning, think about it.

Just my 2 million dollars !!

Cool dude, auto's would be definitely be welcome and that is another possible challenge to really see auto's and fems @ 12 hours strictly.

It is not just stealth, really, it is about size. Most in here are smaller operations. The official cup as far as I can find is only in the LED/Plasma/ other threads and if I joined I would be one of the smallest in that cup.

If there was a cup here, I would be intermediate size, probably right in the middle. So from a personal standpoint, it is more interesting to see the smaller guys and even some that are bigger, but still considered small growths.

From being smaller grows, I think most are under 400w's. Maybe I should have tried to refer to it as the "Sub400 watt Grow-off"

Space isn't an issue, from my perspective, if you have a 1 sq. ft space with 50w's and a 5 sq. ft space with 250watts, it is the same ratio.
Maybe you can explain your feelings on this?

I would urge you to search the forums and you will be pleasantly surprised. I have grown auto's before, a few times, 12/12 out of necessity, but not on a extended cycle, so I can't compare.

I don't wan't to get in an argument, because I think you are upstanding member of this forum, however, many people are getting great results from 12/12 autos and I urge you to compare to experience it for yourself.


Personally I am under the opinion that a fem seed from 12/12 to finish will outyield an auto, but that is what a grow-off is for!
