Bakat wow i love your idea. making a dark room, then you can 100% seal it. only issue would be the smell. unless you got 2 carbon filter setups. and wow love your plants how long did you veg them?
love and peace

Yes.
I made a temporary box for dark.
From 7 AM to 7PM, I have a 2 gal. and the two 1 gal under light, then at 7PM, I swap them so the other 2 gal and a 1 1/2 gal are under light until 7 AM.
Five plants total.
I didn't originally plan on that many, but while vegging the ECSD for 14 days, I started popping more beans, in the anticipation of at least a couple being male.
All in all, 5 out of 5 were female.
All girls great! Hey Bak I found a Ph tester at Home Depot. Its the 1with long metal prongs that you stick in the soil. Each time I tried it my Ph reading was 8. I wonder am I doing something wrong?

viniger will lower your ph 1/2 tsp per point so to get to 7 use 1/2 tsp in your water to get lower to 6.5 use 1/4tsp more in 1 gallon but your tester will show you jsut add a little mix test unless you can get ph down. you want 6.5 for soil plants.

Thanks man.
I only vegged the Diesel for 14 days, and all the others are 12/12.
The Diesel is about 120 days old today, and the SFV and the Alpha Blue are almost 100 days.
They smell some, but not real bad.
I can't even tell if I'm in the room, but a little smell when I leave for a few then come back in.

A friend gave me one of those, and it's not really accurate, because your reading will change depending how wet your soil is.
Just for shits and giggles, wait until your pot is dry, right before you water next time, and check it again.
I'll bet you get about a 5.0 reading.
Mine are about 8 though, right after I water, so you may be closer than you think.
What I would do (did) was go to Petsmart, and get a PH test kit with the drops, and a bottle of PH down cost me under 20 bucks.
For me, this is plenty since I only check my tap water every now and then, and if I use FF, I don't add any PH down, but if I use something else, I add 3 drops per gallon to bring it down from 8 to about 6.4

Fed yesterday 1/3 FF trio. Also I ph'ed the nute/water mix it was around 6(got the stick in dirt ph tester and dial is closer to 6 than 7). So I am no longer concerned with FF toxicity. I would like for you guys to take a look at my light arrangement and tell where you think they could be better placed.HPIM0052.jpg Also other plant was a male so Lisa is only thing growin now. Since Lisa has showed a few pistils I decided to remove shoots growing from nodes 2-4 so that i can concentrate growth to top of LisaHPIM0054.jpg. The tape is from suppercropping and leaving a hole in stem. Here's a pic of her top nodesHPIM0053.jpg

I wouldn't pull anything off if it was me, but too late now.
As far as your lights, you get more light produced from the sides of the bulbs than the ends.
I would try to get more around the sides and closer.
If you have to, mount your power strips higher, and while the plant is short, put it on boxes or books, then remove them as the plant grows.
That way, you don't have 20 sets of holes in the walls every inch.

Should I mount the power strips vertically like the right 1in pic just higher?

If mine, both, then push the plant a little towards the corner so that it is between the 2 strips, and rotate the pot halfway through your light cycle.
If you've really got 199w ACTUAL watts in there, and the plant is already so tall, you really need to get your bulbs closer.

I have 10 23 watts and 1 42 watt, plus a 23watt 5000k and 23watt 2700k that something to do. So thats 272 watts in use and 46 watts on standby. There's 134watts hanging no more than an inch away from top at all times of lights on( 1 42 watt 2700k, 3 23 watt 2700k, 1 23 watt 5000k). The other 6 23 watt bulbs are on the side. The corner placement is a great idea that I will incorporate. Thanks Bakatare:joint:. I needed that time to start planning the corner setup.

skinny th eonly thing i would do now is reflect the light back towards the plant use cardboard zip ties some mylar to make reflectors pushing all the light at your plants. will increase your lumes big time.

i see. im gonna make one out of tin with mylar coating so i can have my 4 led bulbs and 4 t's with cfl. 2 of the led are 12 watt quad spectrum(1 watt diodes) 2 18watt 3000k (3watt diodes using 75% power) then 4 23 watt 1600 lumes 2700k for the top panel. then on 1 side gonna have 6 23watt 1600 lumes 6500k. ill rotate them 2 times a day. that should produce a good yield. im also gonna run 1 cfl 10% uvb in a diff timer for 4 hrs a day. the uvb should make them produce more thc and more trics. i have 2-3 weeks to get my top ready. when i do ill post pics.
Love and peace.
