Misting under LED?

Got my new Area51 SGS160....and got some seeds that recently popped. This is soil grow using light warrior to get them going. I started out having my lights around 20 inches and actually noticed some discoloration on the small first set of leaves. I raised the light to 24" and they seem to like that better. I am new to LED growing so trying to re-calibrate everything. Another issue I am having is the humidity in my closet (2x3x5 tent) is 30%, temps around 72-77....With seedlings and low humidity I figured misting will help seems like the growth has been a little slower than what I am used to. I know with HPS it was recommended to not mist or foliar feed with lights on as it can burn plants. With LED is this the case as well?

You have nothing to worry about.
As a legal medical patient, I am working on my first grow (100% organic) under two XGS-190's in a 4x4 tent and foliar fed/misted several times a week without any issues.
When my plants were small, I had low humidity at around 15-30% for the first month of growth. No issues - the soil just seemed to dry out faster which I actually liked (I could feed more often).
My daytime temps are usually 70-75 degrees and night time temps range from 63-66. Now since the space in the tent is filled with plants, the humidity is 50-60%

never mist your plants..............once u start it they get use to it and except it ...........as time goes by it gets to be more of a hassle and u stop since u do not see any major change

i never get my leaves wet once they leave that spourting jiffy plug chamber.................it does not seem to effect anything the amount i get keeps increasing but that is from figure out the feed str the plant likes and keeping on top of it



if u feel u have to mist atleast figure out a automatic system so u do not need to stand in there with spray bottle for 30 mins ...............i picked up a nice humitifier it makes warm and cold mist ...........i was thinking about looking at adding some chemicals into the water and finding out if they are released in the mist it make this could be a possible answer .......or u could look at a fogger system for lizards

I think there are certain times where foliar feeding helps. Correcting deficiencies being the main one. Also, clones that aren't rooting fast enough and I use snowstorm early in blooming but I'm thinking about switching to foliar with Via Mass when I run out of snowstorm.

But justugh has a point, a regular program of foliar could totally backfire.

I rarely foliar feed or spray my plants. I like to do it when they are young and like higher moisture...30% seems low I just wanted make sure there was no issue. Goodjoint your setup and plants looks nice, I am going organic this grow as well!

currently i am running at 18% to 21% right now with base board heat and this cold snap ...............i am starting 4 plants they are doing fine .............the temp dipp it is cuasing that is stunting the grow the soil is about 10 degree cooler then it should be for the plants
