Brother P I just got home and able to set down and look at these maxi pumps- they look like they would LAST, which is killer, but when they say "circulating," I am not one to be on the side of pumps in the res, unless recirc.- and even then... I didnt see if they had air pumps as well? I noticed it was 3 in 1 but couldnt figure it out.. a powerhead? I would like to upgrade the small sub pump I have now-saw some of smaller maxi's on ebay, and I need a one more AP300, or a couple more for air pumps.

Very nice. You seem to have gotten the leaf curl under control. Did you do anything for that or did they just pull through?

Thanks G, how's the stacking goin over there? The curl is not quite gone, but the new growth is looking more "lax." I got that heat up there a bit more with the 50* lenses, I think that really had to play into it- the margins were literally rolling like little leaf joints haha.. I like the tighter lenses' coverage/numbers and can keep it reading 77* to low 60's, I REALLY need to get the night temps up a fuzz- a fast trip to walmart and a heater, and I should be good...

No sex yet, I do not feel like dealing with this shit again so I taped all the small RED lights on my powerstrip, heater, and timer :/ I hope I see some more poon before next week, they are dividing like crazy and should have by now. (8-10 days last run)

I am going down to the store here in a couple weeks to get some more base nutes and the neccesary accessories, always end up hanging out for an hour of so and shooting the shit... like I said somewhere else, Im trying to get them to buy from Jeff or Rob and get some real LED Rep's in there to put in their comparisons.

Well wtf... you are literally talking cents/gal. Any idea what effect it has on ph? Dry's have always made me wonder, I may nab some up and try it out! thanks friend! And I am leaning to throw down in some dirt, but I need to source some good soil first- closest shop is an hour out, the better one (my usual) an hour and a half.. I have some AF from my microbe tea, dono what it could do for me, have not gotten too far on HOW and WHAT to top dress, but i do know its a process (I wanted to say all the mychorizzia.. (sp? holy fuck..) and bennies on top?) i don't know, I have till the 28th.. hahah... I figured out I was reading about the stuff that wasnt getting me anywhere, I cant mix up and cook my own soil right now, not to mention I feel like it wouldn't be tidy enough to fit in w/out standing out like a sore thumb..

My big worry are ferts, readings (do they even matter!?), how much/often to water (more frequent and less amounts, better right?), and just handling having kids in the soil in the first place. haha..

I watched a few of their videos but the main one was the 3:1 pump, i am just lost what they mean utility pump, is that their way of saying a sub pump? I do like the look of the mini-606, and the turquoise sub line they have, but damn those are powerful.

I may have to snag some new nutes up next time I am downtown, gonna be a biiiig trip... better leave the lady at home. I am glad to hear you're seeing benefits keeping it <800 the whole way through too.

Look how cluttered this shit is, I put this in last night.

Went to walmart, made it a point to check the specs of all the heaters before I decided, fucker STILL drew 1100 on low and almost 14 on high! So... screw it, if im going to devote that kind of energy anyways I am going to use my existing units that I know work how I want.




Good News, and Bad News.

bad news first, I covered all my little red lights, I do think I stunted them. No sex, hopefully this will still stay tidy with the extra stretch.



Good news is I can tell a significant difference in the new growth's appearance since getting temps higher. Bouncing back from the extended res change much faster, spent last night tucking and training, I have broken out the wire ties and had to lock down some of the mains. These things are beasts in their own... a Dragon, a Lion! I will try to edit and get a pic up, looking at 5 separate tops dividing out, I have not given a foliar spray in about 2 weeks, but since I fucked up my dark cycle, again, I am going to wait for sex and set the clock back ten days from there.

In other news, I thought I would aim the limelight towards my SGS' area- the most surprising thing- everytime I turn it on, is how quiet the system is. And I cant speak to it enough to really interpret the exp.

2/3 of the SLH tykes made it out alive, I did decide to put them in some media, one was not able to be saved after not receiving enough moisture under the lid- I saw the taproot shrivel and I threw them all into NP's and 'ton, Im trying to be cost effective, not kamikaze.

Not a lot to update on, slow and steady- I am working out the seed order list, I am contemplating holding off till Hurkle is released, and some others to ever get back in stock. ~20 on the list all together, so far, gonna try and keep it closer to 5-10.


I did order x12 Boveda packs, my father has been complaining about it humidor and though wtf, for 12-13 bucks its a worthy test. Im thinking he may prefer the 65 or 70% though, I nabbed the 62% I have FROST in my freezer, so there goes the freezer cure thing.

Other than that, bout 6" here and I am gonna be planted watching the game.

Brother im not covering up the emitters, I think AT should really look into a switch though, that alone will keep me buying the sgs over the xgs till im convinced. They (AT) could be drawing enough out of a 3:2 if you cut it to 60% (for simplicity's sake..) youd be around 100w of white, but I am sure now it would be too trendy to incorporate or not do able for some other reason thats beyond me... I am looking at the R1's as a stellar veg panel, i noticed Growershouse' SPD showed EVEN amounts of 445nm vs. the 500-575 area for the R2, and the 445nm peak was even with the 625nm in the R1 spd I received for the 200's.

Does suck about the freezer, but I am going to use it with the lids on for long term storage (after the 3-4months of curing) and in a 1/4" production cardboard box.

...things are going great, I have kind of fallen off the radar, after catching up it sounds like it was a good time too.

Necessary accessories are pushin me further and further away from that nice seed order I am dying for. I ordered x3 FLUVAL Q2 Air pumps, they were in the ballpark. gives me two for the 3x3' area in place of the 80w pump and give me another I could replace my AP300 I use for Flower in NN. I am excited to see what the 'dial' lets me adjust, I don't like the single output, but have a few T's. (maybe more even distribution?)

The ladies are Hot to Trot, DTF, however you want to put it- things are moving. I took the large heater out too, take a peak at that range on the monitor. hahahahahaha. Another accessory I am in the midst of ordering are Calber IV's (cailbratable...?)but I could have sworn I read somewhere that ppl preferred the III's.

Anyways, replaced the large for x2 small heaters tonight. The ladies weren't strained from 102* lol. Ive kept an eye on the leaves, even the ones directly by the heater and no curl. Just pray those fans' don't shit out hahah.

Ill be giving a res change tomorrow night including 1.25ml Bot. Cal/Mag+/gal, hopefully keeping things in the 6-700ppm range i will be cutting out the Tap water to give way.

Thinking either way I am sinking anywhere from 200-300 in the structure itself. Big pro that stands out to DIY'ing, is the insulation, and the fact its not just a big black humming tent... bwahaha. Was wondering how you felt about your 4x8. (and containing the whole system.. idk)

Gonna start pricing out everything and start the checklist, I am going to keep the same containers. Love em, universal size throughout the entire system keep shits real nice. The 80w pump and 12-outlet divider will be alright for 6-8 sites.
