Sorry to hear that Koot
Call up Nichol Brothers and have them move your shop 30 feet from your house and detach the roof?

What if you removed the catwalk?Kootenaygirl Update.
Health Canada has deemed my facility, which is connected to my house with a long open-air catwalk, is in fact a dwelling... deep breath...
Plan #2 coming up... deep breath... the more we learned from all of you wannabe's the more we realized that our app was gonna make for a very bumpy ride, we are not surprised. Hope the five months was not a total waste. We rolled the 45K dice, now it looks like we need to roll some much larger ones, anybody see the $300K dice anywhere?.... deep breath... Were not going away that easily... give me a couple days to shift gears... very tough game to play in the dark... bit of light to work with now... much of the money we spent can easily be applied to another building....chin up...
You can still have people help trim if you dont want to use a mechanical trimming machine. You can also sell the trim too...I was reading somewhere that someone was going to trim after hanging the entire plant to dry upside down for 4 days... (who is planning on having that size drying room available?)
Personally the waste isn't usable to us in the current legislation, and has to be destroyed. Plus clipping dry only makes the clipping harder where you will loose more trichomes to the table imo.
Problem I see is no longer being able to call on your friends to help any more... makes you think why the Big LP's are grinding their material... could be a lot of leaf left on those plants to lower their "waste" loss...
We will be using a fully automated system such as Argus, but have not yet finalized the brand. To me this is a no brainer, they will give you much better control and will call you with an alarm if there is a problem. All of the commercial greenhouses I have worked in use them, which testifies to their utility; greenhouse growers dont spend that kind of cash unless it is worth it...So how are the other LP's going to trim all the bud? Is anyone going to use automation for climate control like Growtronix, grobot or iPonics 600? Just some of the stuff I'm wrestling with on the business side. I love my analog equipment but it just not up to the job.
Sorry to hear that but you keep going!!! The best advice we received from our accountant was to persevere. This is a bumpy ride and we, so far, have fought our way around, over and through every one of the many obstacles in our way. I am sure you will too! Keep us informed please.Kootenaygirl Update.

I don't think you can sell the trim, all that has to be destroyed in the presence of two people, one has to be the security cleared principals. The only part you can toss out is the stalk if it has nothing on it.You can still have people help trim if you don't want to use a mechanical trimming machine. You can also sell the trim too...
Yes you can, its still considered "Marihuana" according to HC. The only problem is the maximum shipping/possession quantity of 150g, this wouldn't make very much oil or hash. But it could still be a low cost alternative for the Patient.I don't think you can sell the trim, all that has to be destroyed in the presence of two people, one has to be the security cleared principals. So, if I can't afford to buy the best, my money is good enough for sugar? You're not honestly suggesting that are you?Yes you can, its still considered "Marihuana" according to HC. Yup he is and it's not a bad idea grinding the sugar leaf and selling it cheaper. The thing is you will still need to test it so you know the THC and other numbers and it would need to be different than the bud numbers or who will by the bud?So, if I can't afford to buy the best, my money is good enough for sugar? You're not honestly suggesting that are you?
As mentioned, you would still need to run all of the tests on it so would it really be worth your while? From the patients' perspective, a gram is a gram no matter the potency so I dont know that they would be willing to use their prescription on it unless they are way over prescribed. We will absolutely be offering our sugar leaf from our harvesting machine. Once all the big fan are removed, and the buds are run through our harvester, the by product (trim) still has medicinal properties. I currently use this "waste" for making water hash, cooking butter, and BHO. This product will be offered along with whole buds, at $1 a gram or cheaper, for a " milled product ". Take that cannimed/bedrocan......
cheers itsme.
I make all kinds of things and so do my clients but as a PL we can't do that yet. All you can do is put it out there an see what happens. My sugar trim is great all on its own but as I said I don't want to sell a less expensive product against my other products, so my trim would need to have a lower count of CBD and THC, but for people making stuff excellent way to stretch your dollar. As mentioned, you would still need to run all of the tests on it so would it really be worth your while? Personally, I dont see it being worth the trouble...

I don't know about how much trim you get but I average 280g from 4# so taking down 40 to 50# every month adds up 6+#'s. We could sell it to other LP and LD and labs.
How do you figure a gram is a gram no matter the potency? I can tell you right now, that I will not pay 1 fucking red cent for this shit!!!! Your going to charge what...let's say $6.00/ g for your buds and then what turn around and sell the fucking leaves you trim from that bud for more money? Why not another $6.00/ g since a gram is a gram right??As mentioned, you would still need to run all of the tests on it so would it really be worth your while? I sure am. You wouldn't be interested in 150g of trim for say $50? Then you could turn that trim into roughly 10-15 grams of oil or hash which is more potent than the starting material. So, if I can't afford to buy the best, my money is good enough for sugar? You're not honestly suggesting that are you?
