Thanks Tek! I checked out the link you sent me and the seller did have some awesome deals. If I remember correctly I saw the 600 with 2 HPS bulbs for $152-153... Turns out I'm having a problem with my account though. If I can't get it taken care of, I might be stuck going with amazon. That's going to suck too because that's like another $40-50 right there

The first response was correct with the footprint size. As a general rule of thumb, you want around 50w psf.
I wouldn't buy a cheap carbon filter. There are two brands that are very reputable. Phresh, and Can. I wouldn't buy anything else, and personally prefer can filters.

Thanks resinhead! I will be checking into those as well. I was a bit more worried about the efficiency of my inline fan though. Not sure of the brand and if it has been working like it should, lol
