Ted Cruz is right.

Obama took an oath to uphold the laws of the United States. Not just the ones he likes.

However, he has broken that oath countless times already.

So, I am not complaining about this one.

But if he wanted to do it right he would work on repealing the law. I think it would help his reputation. He flip flops on all kinds of issues (take gay marriage for instance) not to mention all the Bush policies he opposed before he adopted them as president. So it shouldnt hurt him in that aspect either.

But I am not going to hold my breath.

They all do it. It is the loophole or whatever for the President. Your critical eyes are open for Obama, shut for Bush, open for Clinton, shut for Bush. Look around. Is the country ruined? What balderdash.

You speak as if you are some sort of modern oracle. I like it.

I'm pretty sure 98% of people think Bush is a fucktard.

But also something like 60% of people now think he was a better president.

Less pot busts, less wars and less of the ridiculous War on Terror.

These are statistical facts...Obama doubled up on all of Bush's policies, and even brought in the NDAA.

But it's still all Bush's fault ;)

How many dispensaries exist now?
How many before 1/2009?

How many wars is the united states in now?
How many before 1/2009?

In your inane comparison you forgot to mention, "How many licks to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop?"

Well we need actual facts, not oymorons m'Kay? Statistics are most famous for hiding the truth, are they not?

Statistics have to be spun to be news and then there may be new news to learn how to de-spin after the polotical need is over.
No Truth to Politics. Both Presidents did not increase the Drug War and both did to, increase the Terror War. Don't get fooled.

When Pesidents change only the nuance and terminologies change. It is a voice, is ALL. Same speech = America Fuck Yeah!

Matters become even more fascinating under the Obama Administration. As disappointed marijuana legalization advocates complained at the time, the first year of President Obama’s Administration saw an almost identical number of simple possession arrests (758,600) as did the last year of the George W. Bush Administration (754,200). But this represented a significant drop in enforcement intensity because Americans’ marijuana use increased by 10.6% that same year, from 2.55 Billion to 2.82 Billion aggregate days. As a result, in the first year of the Obama Administration, enforcement intensity was already lower than at any point in the GWB data.

This is all nonsense because Barack Obama promised otherwise in his campaign to become President, George Bush made no such promises.

You are a kid. Obama promised no such thing
You partisans just make things up. It looks weird when either of you two do that.

And it is an artifact of Party, to accuse the other side of not keeping campaign promises.

Well. What idiots believes campaign promises? A lot of idiots believe them, that is why it is politics. No truth.

Yeah, and he also said we could keep our healthcare plan and doctor if we liked them.
Only partisan hacks would put politics before principle, you guys are on a cannabis forum trying to convince us that Obama is pot friendly and not an outright liar, good luck with that one, your true colors are shinning through.

Obama's medial marijuana campaign promises
The following are a sampling of medical marijuana promises made by President Barack Obama when he was asking for your vote. Today, he's allowing his Justice Department to attack medical marijuana. It's an unjust episode of bait and switch. — Wayne Laugesen
Quotes from the campaign trail
“My attitude is if the science and the doctors suggest that the best palliative care and the way to relieve pain and suffering is medical marijuana then that’s something I’m open to because there’s no difference between that and morphine when it comes to just giving people relief from pain. But I want to do it under strict guidelines. I want it prescribed in the same way that other painkillers or palliative drugs are prescribed.” — November 24, 2007 town hall meeting in Iowa
“I would not have the Justice Department prosecuting and raiding medical marijuana users. It’s not a good use of our resources.” — August 21, 2007, event in Nashua, New Hampshire
