damage roots while transplanting

my baby just 7 days old since i put it into soil..... it has 6 leaves so far
im using CFL lighting 270 W 24/7 and i start using bio-grow since day 5 and it was doing all good
after the roots came out of the pot i decided to transplanting it to bigger pot(yesterday)

but i cut off some of the lower roots and after i put it down in the new pot i put it in front of the fan with the usual light 24/7 and i water it with the bio grow
watering i use the normal water which is 8 ph ...... anyways

now i see the leaves start to lean down ..... any help!!!??

It'll be fine, just leave it alone. As long as it was well watered during transplant no need to water it for at least a few days. In fact I had one yesterday I pull out of a clay pot and half of the root ball stuck to the bottom and tore off. The plant drooped badly. I just left it under the lights and today it looks as good as new.

I think the leaves lean down for over watering. They get heavy. Normal water at pH 8 is not going to give good results, either. The plant doesn't take nutrition well, if at al, at that pH.

Also, send pictures, if you can.

so am i on the safe side cause i was searching on same like topics n some people says u should keep it in dark area n dont stress it with wind or air!!!?

I just transplanted three from 1 gallon to 5 gallon, I put them back under light and fans and they are fine..

You will see very little foliage growth until the roots re establish.
Keep it green and you will be fine.

i just uploaded the pics.... and i will keep control on the ph rate,... but its not that bad to keep it under 8 ph?!!

Why did you transplant something that small ? Not dissing just curious.
When I Dixie cup clones and seeds it is nothing but a massive white root ball before I transplant. Growing out the holes ,sides and bottoms.
Just leave it alone for awhile it will be fine.
I transplanted a 1 gallon to 5 and thought I had detached all the roots...yank !...nothing but few stringy roots left...wasn't happy for awhile, but it recovered.
Most of the time my plants don't even notice being transplanted...don't skip a beat. They suffer more just because I'm banging them around moving them then the transplant itself.
And I never transplant while soil is wet..cause too much root damage that way.
I would never move something that small for any reason though. The roots are too small and too sensitive to change...and fragile.
How small was the original container anyway ?

8 PH is way too high...5.5 to 6.8 ( depending on strain ) is where it's at. 6.2 / 6.4 is a good neutral starting position. Research strain...I grow a Blueberry that just loves acidic soil 5.5 to 5.8. But my Sage and Sour likes mid 6s.
1 on a PH scale can make a huge difference in growing good marijuana.

i transplant it cause the roots start getting out of the holes ... the size of the pot .... it was a normal plastic cup size !!!

I agree...you transplanted too early. Go by plant size which you'll learn by experience...or ask. The rootball should hang together making transplant easy. Roots sticking out the holes means nothing. That's what roots do.

Also, best not to use clear cups. Light discourages root growth.

Yep. Just let it go from here. The media there, the dirt, or whatever, is very wet and you want these now to seek water. There will be no need to water, until the plant show that other droop at the stem side. Give some water. Make the roots work for water. Have a good balanced N-P-K nutes at low dose.

It is a weird feeling brother, I know, but we can't make them grow. :) Just about every thing we do, is too much at this stage.

But, you need a humidity dome or something.

So:

1- leave off too much water before there is a root ball. Don't disturb these, dig them up or anything. :)
2- take paper, cloth, put them in a dark cup, or hang them in holes in a box or anything to black out those clear cups. Roots need dark.
3 - take more clear cups and put them on these as little domes to keep the leaves from drying out

Presto...off to a shaky but good start. Cheers!
