i cant belive this is still getting new post. thanks for the help and humor. got a good sized cfl on them now and got some free pots and garderners gold+ perilite from the garden center. just cant wait to get my money back for that incandescent and score myself a dubsack ;)

Is there a cheap fix? like i said the other light i have is too hot and my chick is scared its gonna burn down the pad... and i dont even know what im talking about so i cant convince her. does walmart have anything sufficient? i just want to bring them into early flowering but i am hoping for a constant harvest and possibly will convert in the winter

def will need a cfl to start with. what did you get?

me too. takes too much room though, and shades all my shit.

you know what I want to know? I'm sure I could google this ... why the fuck can they not make determinate (bush) tomatoes that make as good of tomatoes as indeterminate (vine) tomatoes? I am so tired of staking, caging, and otherwise restraining goddamned indeterminate tomatoes. It's not like breeding plants hasn't been around for fucking centuries and biotech isn't on our side. Jesus.
