aimming for half a pound how long should i veg

My plants yield 6.5-11 Ozs per each one. They end up between 48"-65" tall grown in organic coco soil mix. You will need to veg for at least 60/80 days if you want big yields. I also use 10 gallon pots, the half pound plus plants end up taller then me and I can't even take them out of my 10x10 room.

dont really feel like reading to see if it was said but IMO the only way you will see 8 zips off that plant and a single 6 is to veg a while longer and i would say transplant to a 10 gallon or larger to scrog it.

looks like it needs a couple weeks to recover from whatever happened.

Yeah it had a hard start to life thanks to my brother telling me to put way to much nutrients and burned the shit out of them that's why one is dead and this one recovered ill need to keep in the 28 liter pots ill get some 50 liter pots next time but ill be running %100 perlite as a test

Might just let it Veg for another 30days and see how she goes 6-8 Oz would be nice but what ever will be will be wish me luck im gonna need it :D

haha...I'm high (always) and fuckin' around...showin' off my last grow in https://www.rollitup.org/organics/539844-subs-supersoil.html that's what makes all the difference in the world...I can go from bean to finishing flower in 4 months...give it a 2 month cure and you're good to go...and I usually get 6+ zips per plant dried/cured...and ya like that mylar, here's another shot..............

My last plant was veg'd for 70 days, then flowered 52 days (Buku is a fast flower) and got 717 grams wet and about 6oz dry. It is possible to get a half pound I would say, specially if it is a high yielding plant. Buku is not necessarily a high yielding plant. i grow in 18 gallon dwc though. Gonna need alot of room for roots to get a half pound plant. Good luck

That seems pretty impossible. My plants drink almost 4 gallons of water per day in late flower. Roots the size of carrots to get 6oz. No way 3 gallons is enough room. Id like to see a picture of a 8oz plant in a 3 gallon container. :)

It doesnt matter if you have a high yielder in dwc sometimes, thats what i love about it. They just pack the jars full no matter what if you run it right. 10-12 oz per plant is easy with medium veg times. Next grow i want to go back so bad, well see ;)

But I'm sure most people with more experience wouldn't be far off from 8 in a 5 gal with 8 week and some training, fimming, and topping.

I topped 3 days before 12/12 flip so Im pretty sure I decreased my yield doing that but I had height restrictions

No one is trying to undermine your grow bro, I just thought 4 months veg is a ton of time, I'd personally expect a lb for that kind of veg time.

Yep...top it and wait till it grows a few more nodes and then top it again and again and again...lol, try to keep all the tops at the same height (look up LSTing = Low Stress Training)...good luck

Someone said 1 ounce per 12" of plant height. So a 5ft plant gets you only 5 oz? That doesn't seem right..

Haven't read it all; a half pound is totally doable indoors; I have had 2 plants yield 10 ounces a piece in my first two grows, I'm hoping that 4 of my 5 soil plants will be close to a half a pound.

Bit if you want that kind of weight, you'll need to veg for at least 2 weeks (edit: MONTHS) and train the plant up PROPER. Multiple tops, LST, scrog, mainline- pick a style and grow with it lol.

But one things for sure, you're gonna have to veg through the whole regular season to get a half pound from a plant with 1 top.

And now that I have read the rest of the thread, I'd like to say HO-LEEE SHIIYOT- alienwidow isn't being an arse! Lol.

A couple things- totally doable to get 6-10 ounces per plant on a 2 month veg. 1 gallon smart pot for the first month, 5-7 gallon smrt pot for the second month. My og vegged for 2 1/2 months and outgrew its smart pot, had to put it in a 20 gallon tub in flower to keep the deficiencies under control.

Btw, Rik's shit always looks like the bomb. Always. And I love how his grows look 4x bigger with the reflector lol. Rik, dunno if o ever showed you my og after it finished, but it still filled out after transplanting in flower. Got 11 ounces off of it, but 2 ounces were scraggle bud down under where there was no light. Shit turned out dank tho

I have some white lavenders running right now. Not as good/frosty of a pheno as the og, but it smells JUST like lavender. Hoping to pull 1-1.5 grams per watt with this grow.
