The plants are 12in tall and in good health. I am using fox farms soil and just switched over to flowering yesterday. currently i water every 4 days. The temp is 75-80 and humidity is around 50%. So my question is when should i add bloom nutes to my plants and when i start should i do it in slow doses? i'll be using Alaska Mor Bloom which is 0-10-10. thanks in advance

Personally I continue to use my veg food (dynagro) the first couple weeks into flower. Then switch to flower nutes.....I also typically transplant a week or so before flowering so I do start off very low and work my way back up as the new soil will have additional food. I also don't feed every watering, every other or sometimes I am on a water water feed....just depends how they are looking. You don't even really need a food that is specified as "bloom" you can use your veg food all the way through if you want. It really depends on those ratios and 0-10-10 is something I would not recommend as you will need to provide some food with N throughout flowering (keep them green). I also try to make sure my food has micros, so I can keep is simple and not have to mix multiple bottles. I have been happy with DynaGro (Grow, bloom and Pro-tekt) and and use fox farms soil as well.

Some switch immediately and some wait 2-4 weeks. From what I have seen many seasoned growers wait 2-4 weeks before making the full switch. If I remember correctly some believe it helps to lessen the stretch in the first few weeks (don't quote me on that though). I started transitioning to bloom almost immediately with no problem, but I am using heavily amended FFOF/supersoil.
A gradual change to bloom is what I would recommend.

A couple things to think about.

Your plant is still vegging for the first 2 weeks of flower almost so youll want to keep up with the veg nutes for that time.

With that being said, too much nitrogen(Npk), will delay flowering a little. First flush with plain water. Then Id suggest for the next week or 2, depending on how often you feed and water, working down to a half dose of vegging nutrients. Then go to full dose of flower nutrients after the 2 weeks or your plant shows hairs. Also, Id suggest supplementing with alaska fish emulsion 5-1-1.

If your plant hasnt showed sex yet, id suggest going 11/13 not 12/12. I find that 11/13 gets the ball rolling a little faster.

I no longer use any bloom formulation at all.
It is better to keep 'em green from start to finish.

I start cutting back on the veg nutes and start adding bloom nutes after the first week of 12/12. I use Botanicare nutes and mix the veg and bloom at 20ml per gallon. So on the first feeding after starting flower, I subtract 5 ml of veg and add 5 ml of bloom per gallon until I am feeding full bloom. And if any plants look like they are getting a little pale, I will add 5 ml of veg and subtract same amount of bloom.
I have no idea if it makes a difference, and I have never really checked up on it, but that is just the way I decided to do it.

ok during the flowering time

start of flowering..............u mix 50% bloom and 50% grow (if u have any stackers for micrbos/taste/enhancers this is the time to start appling them) this is for about 10 days when u start after that u can go to 75%bloom 25%grow for 5 to 7 days then move into full bloom

full bloom..........................this is when u are 100% bloom with your stackers altering in some grow about once a week (more if u see redstem to soon)

end of bloom......................by now u are just doing stackers and something to increase resins before u cut

stackers are anything that is not grow bloom or micro in the grow lines
