The US certainly played an immense role, and without our entry to the war then the allies would have been defeated. But it was not a single-handed victory by any means, and major victories were won without us. I was only saying the efforts of European nations are often downplayed and overshadowed in US accounts of the war.

I will also let everyone know what book I am getting my info from, this book is amazing. The first part is a basic lesson in Latin that most lawyers use so that they can pronounce things correctly, and understand the concepts a little better.

Then the second part is 1000 maxims in Latin, with their English translation and citation.

The last part is a Latin to English dictionary for key words that are and are not in the maxims.
