Yea i have a couple ideas in mind. I want to journal a DIY greenhouse/LED grow with nothing but indiginous gardening techniques. I have the equipment for the diy led, except i have yet to pick out which diodes ill be purchasing. Leaning towards cree whites... But once agian need to know a little more info before purchase

My grow consists of a SJ DR90 3x3 Tent, Vortex 6" VTX600 (450CFM) fan with a 4" (4x12" 200CFM)Phresh Carbon filter. I will clone and germinate in another cabinet in case you were wondering using the BAD BOY T5 light. Going with a soil grow and I will be using (4) 5 gal. Air pots.

I am looking to grow a high yield Indica using 2 Area 51 SGS 160's!!! Do you think this is overkill in a 3x3 space? I was advised 3x3 area maybe too small to grow and work on my babies. Or I can get the new
Area 51 XGS-190 LED Grow Light for the 3x3 area.

Any Thoughts for a first timer ?

My Brother Your Trying To Light 9 Sq ft.Some Growers Belive You Need Atleats 35 Watts Per Sq Ft When Using Led's.This Is True When Using The Cheaper Chineese Model's. However Its My Belife That When Using Area-51 Panels You Need 25-30 Watts Per Square Ft.Just Look At The Twins Im Using 23 Watts Per Sq Ft With Awsome Resluts,Now Keep in Mind That I Use 1 Led Per Plant.1 Sgs Will Give You 16 Watts Per Sq Ft And 2 Would Give Ya 32 Watts Per Sq Ft,Now The Xgs Will Give Ya 21 And 42 Respectivley.Your Growing 4 Plants In 5gl Pots I Would Get 2 Sgs-160's This Will Give You The Resluts Your Looking For.As Far As 4 Plants Being Too Much for Your 36x36,Not Really If You Plan On Training Them Yes You Will Have To Take Them Out To Work On Them But That Should'nt Be A Big Deal.Hope This Helps Ya Out

Omfg I Just Discovered That I Have Pulled A Barney DumbAss Look At Pic 1 See The Led Power Cord That Not Plugged In To A Timmer I Piggy Back My Panels And When I Do Res Changes I Turn 1 Light off At A Time So I Dont Stress The Tops When I Raise My Screen.Yep I Did A Res Change On Friday And I Just Discovered That Right Panel Has Been On this Entire Time Damn What A Dumb AssOh Well These Ladies Are Quick Finishers So Im Hoping I Didnt Stress Them Out Too MuchPeace and Im A Fucking Barney Today
