Thanks brother, I hope you are staying cozy in that 62* weather over there ha! the Kid's look great, I think you are right on target with swapping those lenses, I have been wondering if I(we) would benefit using the wider lenses with the even plane of a SCROG, your light is more for your footprint, but im kind of pushing the 200 outside it's "comfort zone..." let me know what you think.. I still have to take those readings for Flux too.

Lights are still out but I may toss up some closer pics later on, hopefully they are staying toasty.

I will just be tracking the maximum wattage drawn with everything running for the EW. (fans/heaters/pump/inline) Since the Inline will constantly adjust and heaters kick off.

I was checking out Bodhi seeds GG, thats a pretty sweet deal going on right now. They have some crazy ass names but they are crosses of some sweet ass stuff..

Querkle is actually (Urkle x space queen).

Urkle is more stable than BCS was so that is why sub likes it in all the new purple crosses. It should be the better version of plush basically...no nanners.



The lenses are and interesting thing. I have been trying to get them to use/test 30* lens(so 60* in normal thinking). I think it would be the perfect mix of spread and intensity.

Yea and BadKarma had just mentioned a cross of Harlequin and Urkle?! I could get down on that.. I dont remember seeing it anywhere though. Pandora's Box spikes my interest too, Pennywise is out everywhere.. I was avoiding it, but how high you guys speak of Jillybean I may snag 3-5 seeds, sounds like out of all his gear that is one to keep. I am curious of the Pan Box and Vortex though.. O well, itll be narrowed down to a few by the end of it all.,


As promised I ran out and snapped some shots, and took down/brought in my AT200 for lights out. Whether it could handle those temps or not, I paid a lot of money for my panels, and I love them. My SGS is staying toasty in Northern Narnia (going to term it that for now on) but my second heater (panel style that used to be on the wall) has been brought inside because it wont turn on from the low temps. Not to mention the pipes I am thawing right now..



I may toss in some CFLs and see if I cant retain heat like that, if im drawing from the plug I might as well get some light out of it too. *shrugs*

I did drop my light down a fuzz when I gave em res change, think it is closer to 26" now and took some shots of the readings for you guys

the nute change came out to 538ppm with 18ml Bloom (my Grow chunked up from the temps, and pretty sure my silica has too), 12ml MagPro, and 10ml Protekt. Im not sure they were reading for such a short shot of N. I have some samples of Foliar Pro I may pull out...

Nice update Scotch............I see on your T/RH meter ^^^the low Temp is 41!!! your not letting your room go under 60 are you?? because that would be my first concern.

I understand the cold your dealing with, Philly is freezing right now( fucking 5 F tonight) but my room wont go under 55 for days though........will cause severe stunting and clawing leaves. Basically use the cfls/incandescents!!! brother asap

Hurkle is legit...but not out yet. It is the cbd strain I am waiting for.

I never wanted to grow jillybean for a long time...was actually basically against it because people said it had no kick. Then for some reason the clones called to me that day. 63 days later it is one of my favorites. And strictly from a growers view, near perfect. Resin, flavor, yield. An they must just not grow well, cause mine has been getting me ripped everyday for the last few months.
I used a hilly male to make my first crosses. If I do the party cup, one of my jilly's is what I will run. I actually want to do a full normal bean run with my (kandy kush x JB).

I grew just one vortex clone on time. Not bad, very sativa, yield was good. Sub's timewreck cut is near identical in smell and taste to the vortex I grew. But TW yields are massive.

Lights come on here in about 2 hours my man and I will let you know what the Night temps are, but I know for fact that its been as low as 60* while Ive been working in the area. The surrounding space is too large to heat I am considering another small space heater, or cfls (not LEDs :/ for heat..) but I think the heater does a better job reducing RH at the same time? I think I may find myself getting in a rotation w/ the seasons between which area I am working out of with the swings of Seasons we get to deal with. Ill get to see how well that new Vortex cools my cab, and it is a nice comfort not worrying about hearing it on "max"

Since I pulled the AT upstairs with me at lights out I am gonna swap the lenses and take some readings, probably have to bring it down 8-10", but maybe Itd pay off spreading it a bit.. but from what I remember, it was just a difference between height what height for what coverage/intensity(ie. Heat, which wouldn't be bad..)

Things have really taken off since the recent res change, notes are in the other room but we're somewhere around a week in 12/12. I had family over the past few days so I think me letting them be, Ie. "cook" and photosynthesizzze and transpire and shit under the light and higher temps. Yes, me leaving them alone and using the more narrow (narrower? Sorry I am just, super baked. Work week started up again, so my smoke schedule for the past 12 days just came to a halt..wow) lenses let the Radiant Heat where it needs to go.

I did decide to turn off the top osc fan and bring the panel back a little though, the breeze was chilly and im sick of ugly leaves..


Gonna try and break down the Training for you all. Hopefully it will help somebody out there at some point or another. My first time scrogging w/out topping, and I am curious myself to see what Cytokinins have to offer in avoiding stress.

Just checked the ppm for the first time (topped off x2 since change, bout ~3/4 gal each) since the res change and they are feeding @420pppm This is the first time in a couple days I have been able to really spend some time out there. Took 10-15 to pinch internodal growth I didnt care about. There was one that I had missed on the biggen in the back left, that I am going to let thive and see what happens.

The top reading was @24" dead center, I raised it to 28"



I really like how little the dropoff is with the tighter focus/higher distance, I was ~620umol DC.

I am worried about that killer leaf curl though, been back and forth whether its my great range of RH or my rootzone's WL. Just cant seem to get em happy since the transfer. May rig up the dehum and run a drain line.

Lookin back at the pictures it looks so bare... they should stretch for a good 3 weeks before packing on anything. Im thinking Ill be okay between the four. Next run I may go to two and plant count down.

Besides it being time consuming, which I dont mind, its a pleasant "quiet time," haha. Hydro does not have to be too strenuous... but I am going to need a bigger sub. pump..

-I am not hooking up the 2 ft. air lines I purchased, they won't stay put in the clips I have now..
-I have changed airstones inside the res' so that all x4 are the smaller 2x2" cylinders, for...
-Looking at needing to go into "stealth" mode in a few weeks, this is not a bad thing.. I really like having the versatility available for the given situation.

Found that the AP300's are the best balance of quiet vs. pressure I have found amongst smaller aquarium pump options and will probably snag a couple more. Then I will just need to unhook from the x12 outlet divider and into the two pumps, x1/res. At least that's how i imagine it going.

Finally got in there and gave them their res changes, look at em beg..

the first shot of the roots contains the one I tested cutting the center of the NP out of... I like that they are not matting onto each other as badly, but think I still should have woven some through the perimeter of the pot in the beginning.
