This durban poison update...she's been under 12/12 for 11 weeks now..shoin pistols for abt 10/9... last week n half I believe...she hermied I guess casue I found seeds...tried to let her go a bit longer (but I have neglected her a bit ) bt now I jus cant take that no more...I have other plants in flower and I dnt wanna affect themsooooooo I'm gonna chop once n for all!!! Her pistols still haven't quite receded into the bud so I'm kind of concerned abt that ...any comments, tips etc????????? Okay ....... looking at pic #1. Where are all the fan leaves? Those are the solar panels to make plant produce .

#1 - Many strains will toss out a pollen sac or two if they are flowered for 11 weeks.

#2 - Pistils, not pistols.

#3 - Durban Poison is a heavy sativa that does better outdoors. I know this because I grow this.

yes yu too and even the aholes...very 1st time btw -Name calling generally does not get you very far around here, nor does spelling like a 2nd grader. I made an exception for you and actually tried to give you an answer, even after you called me an "ahole".

Lol thanx hunni......the fan leaves have started yellowing and dying since I stopped feeding her like 3/4 weeks ago...I don't think she liked it

It's completely fine. Chop now, hang to dry (don't trim.. no need to). Trichs don't matter at this point because the plant is dying, it's got no method of gathering enough energy because the fan leaves are all dead. How dense are they? Do the buds compress when you squeeze? Try to dry them for as long as you can... keep feeling the buds each day and in a few days you can probably "trim" by running your fingers up and down the buds. Depending on how long it's looked like this, you could still wind up with some quality smoke.

Hahaha yes!! I'm not the only one who hears/reads someone say assholes and assumes it is aimed at me! (Pun only very slightly intended) I still can't decide (in my case) if it is low self esteem or unbridled narcissism (I'm betting both, probably so far at the end of each spectrum that they touch)

And Ashley, I am not an expert grower, but I have been smoking for almost twenty years, and I can tell you I have smoked some top shelf, one-hit-shit that was absolutely covered in pistils, I wouldn't worry so much about them still being out. I think you made the right decision chopping her, and I bet that with the right cure she will smoke like a champ!
