straw on stem... help

i just put a straw on one of my stems because it was leaning to much, its up strait now, when should i take it off? should i just let it grow and it will eventually fall off or sould i take it off after acouple days?

Damn I thought you were talking about a smaller plant. I'd still try it without the straw.

yeh I used the same thing but with much younger plants, it looks like it's bursting out of the straw anyway. Bamboo skewers and twist ties are good for proping up plants.

I'm not a big fan of straws....that's actually how I killed one of my plants, doing something very similar to what you've done. I'm glad it's ok though. Have you tried chenille as a support? They're more commonly called pipe cleaners, at least where I'm from. They're the little wires with fuzz on them. They work great because you can bend them in whatever shape you need for support
