Possible to get rid of mold? Or like herpies?

thank you for you help. I have been using serenade & a fungicidal organism as of recently (not sure if that's what serenade is or not)


Lol do you answer a lot of similar questions?
i have done a good amount of research, but living in the mountains with no Internet makes that sort of difficult. Somedays it will work & others not.

Is this the serenade you are talking about? http://www.basf.com/group/corporate/en/brand/SERENADE If yes the organism Bacillus subtilis is also good, but not as good as Pseudomonas

As a part of my job, I answer so many similar questions from farmers who have been using traditional organic ways but not with the knowledge of microbes. it gives me pleasure when people try it out themselves and see the difference. I want people to realize organics is the way to give back to mother earth what we've been destroying. I am not alone, you too are now part of the team. Together, we can save our planet, one small step at a time and puff puff pass the homegrown .

The learning curve for me is here in RIU as well, just imagine how much knowledgeable people are here. Years of experience making teas, growing plants, watching kids grow up and time change..Damn! Their words are diamond, so keep reading as much as you can.

Living in the mountains can be sometimes frustrating too, two sides of a coin though.

Thank you so so so much man you have no idea how much this helps. I tried to give you +Rep again, but it wouldn't let me. I actually ordered some damp rid & a small gun safe dehumidifier a couple of days ago to test them out by quicedence. That worked out well! Now just gotta wait for them to show up ha.

i had no idea with the blacklight. Should I run it the same as my light schedule, or 24/7? How many blacklights, I guess the more the better? I knew it was good for identifying mold, but it didn't know it killed it.

As far as the gnats, will pinkish wine work as well? I've heard red does & was gifted some pinkish red wine recently.

I really would like to add ventilation, but unfortunately I don't think it's an option for me at the moment with my place being for sale unless I can come up with a discreet way. One thing I am considering doing is getting a 2-duct air conditioner & running a sealed room with co2 & adding one additional light. Only this is, I'm having a hard time finding a two-duct air conditioner with an analog control instead of digital. I suppose digital would work but analog would be ideal. Only analog one i found was $1,000.00. Yikes!

one 24watt blacklight would be sufficient for any closet. just make sure its a real UV blacklight, not a purple party bulb.

put it on the same schedule as your other lights.

a 24watt 2 foot flourescent fixture can be purchased at most stores that sell reptiles and reptile feed, as well as some aquarium stores.

I believe that is it. When I pulled the link up it brought me to a weird site lol. I will have to look that up! My other spray has streptomyces lydicus (actinovate) Most def! Organic is the way to go. I agree 100%. There are so many knowledgable people here with so much to learn from. I am so greatful that you & the other knowledgable people here are willing to help out! I hope to one day become knowledgeable enough to help out our fellow members as well. I've tried I help out some, but hate to give incorrect advice to someone. Times are def changing! Crazy two states have legalized.. I wonder how long before the rest of the world follows by example.

Yeah that is the truth! It's so peaceful out here, I love it. I never really get bothered except for the occasional showing since my place is for sale. It's perfect for blasting/hash making since I have two decks. Thanks man! Once again all of the help is much appreciated!!

One last question I can think of for you all: With the leaf mold, can I completely eliminate it? I know with my flowering plant it seems to be barely effecting it anymore (after about 3-4 weeks of sprays/low humidity) the reason I ask is trying to figure out when to flower these 3. I was going to wait til it was at least under control/barely spreading. But if I can completely eliminate it would probably be better to do this first?


Main question to cut through my blabbing:Can I completely eliminate the mold?

Update:My two diesels so not seem to be handling it well. Despite my daily trimming of mold & spraying fungicides/low humidity, it's spreading like wildfire between them. I come out with a sandwhich bag full of leaves from them almost daily.My u.k. Cheese/p-phunk/flos seem to be very resistant to it, barely effecting them at all.I feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle with my two diesels, they don't handle mold well at all. What should I do?

I just did, yes. Will post results first thing tommorow. Nothing else seems to work with those two, so hopefully this does!!

Checked today & the peroxide spray didn't help. If anything, the problem has gotten worst.At this point, I'm starting to think it would be best to cut down the two diesels. They are spreading at a tremendous rate. I'd say they only have 50-60% of their leaves remaining & that's is just within an 8 day period spraying daily.I think cutting them down will allow me to take more control of the situation b/c it would be less humidity & would be less likely to spread to the ones that are more resistant.If so ill prolly just clone the more resistant ones.What are your alls thoughts?Thanks in advance!

you need to get them into a super dry area, like less than 10% rh, and put a fan right on them. If the humidty is so low that is kills mold it should help arrest it faster than anything else I would say.

I appreciate the reply. I've tried to get humidity down to that 10-15% range, but never succeeded. I have a 70 pint dehumidifier & small thing of damp rid. Lowest i have been able to get it is 25% & that's if there starving water.Waiting on more damp rid in the mail.

Black/grey/possibly botrytris. In my case, it's been starting at the leaves & working its way inward (generally) sometimes there are black spots at the base of the leaf & I have to remove the whole thing
