Decided to give it a shot. Read and tried to follow the instructions of virtually everyone here(even the people who contradicted the others).
Grew 5 seeds....3 were strong. Killed the others. 2 males...one female. 1000 watt HPS after a series of CFLs stretched them too much. Im positive I over fed...and over watered...and at times burned the plants with the light being too close. But thats what test runs are for. Waited till it was mostly cloudy and one or two amber but mostly decided to harvest because its 20 degrees outside and im having trouble heating the area I grew in.
Ended up with a top(cola?) nearly the size of a 2 liter bottle, a number of decent sized buds, and a jar of popcorn. Feeling like I did well but perhaps thats because I dont know any better.
Attached harvest results and a pic of where it started. Judge away. I find criticism helpful.
I intend to try a batch of THC bomb and Nirvana bubblelicious next if the response is good to this first batch.
Its been drying for a few days. I'll report back with the full dry weight. I have one person predicting 4 ounces but reading these topics has taught me not to overestimate. If its two ill be happy for a first run.
